Hmm. It looks intriguing, but you're right about it being disturbing. Poor fellow. OTOH, they did the same thing to Don in the Image series. I highly doubt they would actually kill him off. That would be too far away from the gist of the family of stories Mirage has done. And now to wait and see what really happens.

Is this part of TMNT or is it part of Tales....
This really distrubs me.... to levels that I don't even know what to say....
What a horrible way to have Leo die....
What a horrible thing to do.
I am speachless....

Ok, according to what I was reading, this takes place after the events in Tales of the TMNT #5. Let's examine things here...
1) Tales of the TMNT take place prior to the current TMNT series.
2) Leo is alive in the current TMNT series.
3) Hence, I suspect there's more here than meets the eye...calm down, folks.

I investigated this myself... meaning I went to the pages that these pictures are from.... here is the full article for anyone interested: http://www.newsarama.com/forums/showthread.php?s=afcf593851adf8adc04f1dbc9a1ae944&threadid=63032This is a mini-series I read about a while ago and am now very interested in reading, while I will fully admit that the images above still distrub me I think what Lawson is trying to do with the story will be amazing.... Just the emotion these few pages engage..... June is vastly too far away...

This issue hasn't been printed out yet. I spoke with Dan and he said he wasn't too sure if Peter got the issue out yet.

Thanks, Wolf, I was going to post the same link. Definitely looks like it'll be an eye opener. I shall refrain from further specific comments until someone has had a chance to react....

Could you possibly change the title of this topic?? Because the comics are NOT about Leonardo's death and I know (from personal experance now) It will save other Leo fans a lot of panic and heartache to NOT have to read that header then then see those pictures.

Ok...To me, what happened defies the law of gravity. I thought that the heavier the object is, the faster it would fall to the ground despite the 'freefall' effect, than a lighter object. Yet the katana lands first. What's up with the katana landing hilt first? For something dull to land like that and not fall, there had to be some major force pushing down on it. I'd figure it either land and fall or the blade go first. Sorry, I had to get that off my chest. I don't want to appear that I am un-sympathetic, but what see just confuses me a bit.

This completely slipped my mind but why is smoke coming off of Leo's shell? Hmm, very odd.
I'm well aware that this is a Tales book and I guess I should have stated that but I was too shocked and rushed to get the word out. Sorry.
Tales books can take place in the past present or the future. Correct? So, this could take place in the future but that would mean that the whole blindsight story would have to take place in the future as well. I'm scared
At first when I saw this I was sickened. It really hurt to see a character that I love slip and fall to his death going out like a punk. I really don't know what they have planned for this but if for nothing else at least it got my attention and now I have to read it. Their move to do this is ballsy I'll give them that but it could do one of two things, cause sales to sky rocket or plummet We'll see. It might not be as bad as it looks. If it does turn out to be as bad as it looks, I'm sure they'll be getting tons of letters.
As for when Laird is going to release the latest issue of volume four, I think he said it would probably come out a month later. I guess he was having trouble writing the story (writer's block). He also mentioned he might take a break from it all together to deal with the movies and cartoon.
