I grew up on Full House, I loved lil ol Munchkin, and had a crush on Jesse. I used to think this show was very cool. I watched it all the time till the very last episode.

But now that I am older and watched the first season on Nick @ Nite again and Fox Family I came to realize what a total stuck up, snobby, drama queen brat DJ was in her early years. Any little thing she maaged to twist it around and make everyone feel sorry for hurting her/grounding her, getting mad etc. What a total brat, this brat deserved a major slap in the face. I'm sorry but if I had a daughter and she did something wrong and then she had to nerve to pull that kinda crap on me, Oh you bet she'll change her tune before the days out.

Plus I came to realize that the last 2 seasons where about Michelle only and it all had to evole around her. I saw the episode where the family was tinking of moving and she did everything to stop it cause it was hurting HER. THen the last 2 episodes about chaging life syles cause of her......OMG I just want to ring someone's neck. Gez no wonder the show was cancelled, everyone was sick of those twins and the world evoling around them only.

IT's kinda funny how when your older you see certain things with new eyes.

Well you do need to keep in mind where the main characters are all coming from. The girls didn't get to grow up with their mom since she died so it basically left them with this emotional scar that never quite healed completely. It was pretty obvious their over-protective father wasn't all that well balanced either.

Heh was anyone in this show really Well balanced?

My favorite characters were always Joey and Jesse.  I didn't care for any of the girls.   I would watch it when I could, but my dad hated the show so if he was home it wasn't on.   Though I do remember watching for awhile, but haven't seen it in years now.  I know I would watch it if I stumbled across it though.

I just remember actually that i liked the theme song more then the show itself. My fav shows as a kid were Punky Brewster and i loved watching fraggles. Those got my attention more then Full House did.

Heh but there was fun stuff in Full House, like when there was a little boy there to visit with Michelle and he was a TMNT fan!  Heh I liked seeing TMNT on full house.

Though I enjoy those other shows you mentioned too Fae Fae.

Jesse was my favorite and Joey came second.  I could sit through the show up until that 'moral' music started to play, then I have to change it.  It's amazing how the Olsen Twins have come a long way.  Just now 18 years of age, they're millionaires with their own clothing line, make-up, videos, and so on.  My God, where did I go wrong?  Didn't have the right agent, I guess!   Razz

Yeah those girls were lucky to get as far as they did.  I know a lot of people were annoyed with them, like my dad... though I don't know why but I didn't mind their stuff.  I'd see their movies here and there, though my favorite job they did was Full House.   It was cool when they were younger, when they weren't so pushed in the publics face... there was no toys of them or shirts and stuff, it was part of their contract not to be pushed like that.  Though I'm guessing as soon as that contract was up, that went out the window... cause now there's anything you want of them.   I guess for their fans, that's a good thing.
