Well my names Samantha but I prefer either Spam or just Sam. I'm on practically eveything.. Bebo, facebook, habbo hotel.. just look for Spam Eagle Eye Turtle!

I'm located in Erith, England. I don't usually write where I am since I've had alot of death threats and hate mail in the past.
3. How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?
I'm 16 and I heard about TMNT when I was 6. I grew up on the guys!   And they never went away from then on! I write stories including them, I buy posters of them, heck I even bourght the entire seris AND movie a little while ago!
4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
Well I was at school and the boys and girls had seperated for lunch like usual. I thought since I was a girl I HAD to be with the others, but they were all talking about rubbish I had no interest in and playing skipping which I found completely boring. Well knowing I couldn't hang around with the boys I wandered off alone, where I got into a talk with my Tomboy friend. She hung around with a group of boys who played Pokemon cards and watched TMNT. Not knowing on what it was I joined them and learnt more about it. They told me when it was on and I watched it on TV. The first ep I saw was The Shredder Strikes Back part 1, which got me into Leo From then on I hung around with the boys and learnt more and more about it, eventually growing up into this TMNT fan you see before you.
5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
It's gotta be Leo. He always holds the weight of everything on his shoulders. If one of his brothers are hurt, he immeadiatly thinks it was his fault for either not being there or not trying harder. Even though Raph has a short temper, Leo handles with it like a professional. Yeah theres the occasional argument between them, but he always seems to put a good point accross. Plus I like his fighting skill. First in last out is what I think matches it. If its too dangerous, he will either keep his bros back or go in alone. That is what I call bravery in the face of danger.
6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
hmm thats a hard one... But I think its gonna have to be either the first one or the new movie thats just come out. The first one I saw for my 9th birthday [after my parents finally accepted that I like boys stuff] and it was the best birthday I ever had! Plus I love the way they bring out the charecters in the new movie, esp when Leo gets taken and Raph runs after the truck like his life depended on it. It just goes to show that no matter how much you think you hate someone, theres always a little bit of love there. Just because Raph envies Leo and hates him for leaving them, it doesn't mean he won't stand by him when his brother need him the most. And in the first movie it shows that as well. When Raph is hurt, Leo stays with him and doesn't move until he knows he's ok. Theres a tight bond between those two, and not even the Shredder can break it.

I can't say I have unfortunatly. My parents don't allow it, thats the one thing they won't let me do. I probably will one day in the furture.

I like Transformers as well[Armada, G1[just started watching them], Cybertron, Energon, RID.. I think thats it for now], plus Ace Lightning, the Biker Mice from Mars, Get Ed [for some apparant reason.. its an addictive show!] theres alot more but there the ones I can name off the top of my head.
9. Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?
I collect the DVDs, Badges, Posters, anything I can get my hands on that isn't nailed down... [I have a humongous TMNT poster on my wall from the new movie... I snuck it out from the Bakerloo Underground station!]

I was vidding away on Youtube.. When I started watching some videos by a person named Ivyangelo [name familier?]. Then I was told about it and I made an account. I haven't been online for a while since my laptops broken... I will get it fixed soon...

I am 29, I heard of TMNT when I was a kid, but I don't remember when I first heard of them.

I think I was introduced through video games.

Raphael is my favorite, because I always liked lone wolves

The first movie is my favorite, Ivey introduced it to me.

I've done a handful of events because of Ivey, I helped out with Turtle Con 2001 and 2003.  I've also done a lot of anime conventions, helped with some TMNT type parties for members here on TMNT-L, and this year I went down to Ohio to meet Ryan Brown with Ivey and her sister, Miki.  I do Love to travel!

8. What other things besides TMNT do you like?

Anime, cats, video games (Right now hooked on "World of Warcraft"), traveling, shopping for collectables, art and art supplies, and hanging out with friends.  (I make good food according to my friends).

No, I have a few items from Turtle Con 2003 because I worked it.  Though if I want to see TMNT stuff, I'll just go over to Ivey's house.

i really dont have any, all four of them have their own characteristic that makes tmnt my fave.

hmmm... maybe the first one, it was more gritty and dark... i didnt really understand teh movie the first time i saw cuz i was really young, but as i watch it again i enjoyed it even more. i think i got to watch it at home when my dad came home from work with a vhs copy from a video rental shop.

That's getting personal.  As if I could avoid it.    I sign all my art with my name so.... My name is Elizabeth, most call me Bess or rarely, Lizzy and LadyR is pretty much what my username gets reduced to.  I created the username out of pressure btw.  Everyone else had one.

Michigan, a stone’s throw south of the admin.

I’m 31 last I checked but I'm known to forget my age on occasion and my math skills are horrid, causing me frequently to guess.  I heard of the TMNT way back when…um…when the old toon hit the airwaves…whatever year that was.


4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
My little sister.  She’s 12 years younger than myself.  As a little kid, she LOVED the cartoon and I, as a teenager, LOATHED it.  The turtles weren’t cool, they were stupid.  But after babysitting a couple of times and being “forced” to actually pay attention to it (eyes pried open with toothpicks and all that), I fell in love.


5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
Leonardo!  It used to be Raph before I knew better.  Leonardo is the one true tragic hero.  He takes responsibility for all the crap thrown at him from life and his brothers and IN STRIDE I might add…well, most of the time.  He deserves some attention, more than he gets anyway...in a nutshell.


6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
The first movie by far.  I have no special stories.  Saw it on vhs when it came on cable and my dad recorded it (because we didn’t have enough money to be going out to movies at the time).  It holds a special place in the TMNT chamber of my heart because it remains the only piece of TMNT “history” that possesses their true spirit with a bit of tangible reality…IMO of course.

No.  I support the TMNT almost entirely in humble homage, a piece of artwork here, a stray movie ticket or plastic toy but nothing major…a pat on the back, gratitude, etc.


8. What other things besides TMNT do you like?
Oh, a lot of things.  I enjoy my simpler lifestyle.  I find people can’t relate to me because of it but I don’t really care anymore.  I like to sew, knit, crochet, garden, cook, preserve (basically produce my own food and clothes), houseplants, candle-making, book-making, soap-making, paper-making, knot-work, printing, gourds and ceramics.  Also carpentry, framing, painting and drawing of course, photography, geology, ecology, archeology, genealogy, travelling, hiking, camping, canoeing, home improvement projects, taking long walks down rural roads, spending time with my extended family, bird-watching, weather-watching, people-watching, reading, learning, history, historical reenactments, local festivals, old structures, antiques…geeze.   I could go on and on and on…  Basically I’m like the last person you’d expect to be a fan of four mutant turtles.

11. Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?
I haven’t met anyone doing anything TMNT (in person) and aside from the “brilliance” of actually conceiving the idea and running with it, they’re all human and aren’t particularly more extraordinary than anyone else.   The artists are good and the writers are ok… So no, I guess I don’t have a great desire to meet anybody specifically.  I wouldn’t be against it but I’m not all swooning over anybody if you know what I mean.  I have talked via email to both Dan Berger and Diego Jourdan who were both really helpful in giving advice on the art biz but other than that…I dunno, I have a thing about unduly worshipping celebrity.

Probably when it was conceived.  I’ve actually been in and out of here lurking for a long time, following links that others leave and gossip, but I guess I never joined.  *shrugs* This forum has been around pretty much as long as I've been on the TMNT internet scene so yeah, since then.

Well, first thing I really saw was the original movie. It quickly became one of my favorite movies.

I am nearly 23, which means I was only 4 when the old cartoon debuted. I have no idea at what point I started watching it.

Probably my older brother found the cartoon, and I watched with him.

I love Donatello, because he is a creator rather than a destroyer. And because I can't resist a SNAG.

The first is still the best, for the family ties that define the franchise. Can't remember when I first saw it... but I discovered a few months ago that I own the video, and have watched it several times since.

Toys: Nightwatcher, the four movie toys (the main one I think with normal weapons and an accessory each)
DvDs: First season 2k3, Fast Foward Part 2. 2 copies of the original movie and the new CG movie. Plus first two movies on VHS
Comics: Lots from Vol 1 (back issues), currently collecting Tales Vol 2 and a bunch of other misc TMNT comics.

I'm 58 and I heard of TMNT in 1989 from my children.

My children, I remember liking the humor, and I always liked odd stuff.

Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?  All depends, in the movies I liked Donatello, the cartoon it was Michaelangelo and in the Mirage comic's I liked Leo, but in the Archie comics I liked Michaelangelo, and in the live action tv show I liked Raph, so who do I like.  I liked all four, they seemed more human to me then some real people.  So it all depends on what media that was in front me, and also what senario was happening.

Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?  I liked them all, but I think one of my good memories of watching these movies goes to the first one, it was on the first day it was out in a brand new theater in our area called the Star Theater.  My children were all excited, they had earned this movie by reading the novel and I took them out of school to see this.  My youngest's teacher agreed with me, for all my children were dyslexic, and if this was one way to get them interested in reading then so be it.  For me I was very interested in the costumes, we make costumes in my house and I was very impressed with in how they were put together.  I also liked the story line.

You can say I have my own collection, I have comics, toys and what ever I got my hands on for a good while, but I sure wasn't able to keep up with my daughter, but hey, I had to normally buy all my stuff, and then I was getting hers too, plus also for my other two, so for a while I was buying four of everything, and then people was giving my youngest a lot, my older two went in different directions and so I didn't have to try to keep up with them any more, thank goodness, and after a while I had so much I thought this was enough.  I really never collected stuff before, my husband was the comic collector, and then I heard about a Number 1 superman comic a guy had and sold it 30 years later in mint condition and got a lot for it, I thought, hey, maybe I should try this.  I didn't realize that we would get enough in this house as we did on this subject.

Oh I didn't meet somebody yet?  LOL, oh I know I haven't met everyone, but I met a lot already and they seemed to be a very nice batch of people.

*My name is Rebecca, but I like to be called Becky. The only other place you can really find me is on livejournal where my name is raphs_mistress. Obviously here my name is raphs_girl

*I'm 23, and I was into Turtles when I was a girl and in love with the original series.


(4.)What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

*Well, like I said I REALLY liked the older series and movies when I was growing up. Then I was re-introduced to the Turtles when my friend (Mibu!!!) showed me some of the newer episodes from the '03 series. And that was when I fell head over heels all over again. Being friends with Mibu and Kazari has really been a pleasure and their love for the Turtles has also deepened mine.

(5.) Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

*RAPHAEL. He was my favorite when I was little and it's been the same ever since then. I really empathize and identify with him. His passionate and loyal character really inspire me.

(6.) Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

*As much as I love the new TMNT movie, I have to say the first movie is my favorite. I have a lot of good memories about seeing it at a birthday party when it first came out.

*My collection is small but growing! I have a lot of the toys and figures, a few Raph plushies, all the dvds that are out, and I've been collecting the comics as well! I love them!

Mikey! When we were little my siblings also had me be Mikey when we pretended to be turtles. : ) And he's just plain awesome.

I'm trying to get all of the first cartoon series on dvd. So far have 3 dvds which isn't nearly enough! XD Already claimed the movies on dvd. And I like to pick up random nick knacks at the thrift store, (found post cards! And the tv tray XD And hand cuff at a discount store. They are green and awesome and the sheriff's badge that came with them have Mikey's picture. WIN. )

I am 24  I herd of TMNT way back when it first came out... I was like 4.5 or 5 years old....some where around there.

Just saw it on TV.... I was really little but it made me laugh. I liked the characters and it helped me get through a really hard time in my life when I was very ill child.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
Well.. when I was really little I loved Michaelangelo. So funny and easy going. I used to be able to imitate his voice from the old cartoon. Then when I got older I think I switched to Raphael because I identified with him more.  But I still like them both

I love the first movie the best.  My brother and I would watch it (well we still watch it) and eat pizza. we saw it in the movie theater when it first came out.

I had a TMNT birthday party when I was like 10 maybe...I don't really remember my age but my parents got me this sepcial Raphael made out of styraphone as a center piece for the table it was awsome I have some pictures of it still.  And I remember going to this kids birthday where it was a dance studio but you got to play act from a show and he picked TMNT. I was the only girl who was a turtle.

I like to draw, and sound and film edit. I also love anime and comics.

----For simplicities sake, I go by TMNTerminator on all boards I frequent, though many times I'm simply refered to as terminator

----I currently am residing in the Sunshine State, Florida

----I'm 25 now and I found out about the TMNT way back in 1988-9, when I first saw the old toon and soon after got my first figure, Breakfighting Raph (and it still works!)

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
----Saturday morning cartoons is what initially got me interested. Something about these 4 crazy turtles completely enthralled me and while I had interested in other 80's toons (he-man, transformers,gi joe, etc.), nothing came close to the TMNT. Once my mom started getting me figures, it was all over with. Turtles was all I wanted, and for birthdays, good report cards, christmas, bribes from older brother, etc. they were all I got as gifts for many, many years.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
----Wow. This is a TOUGH one. If I absolutely had to choose, I think I would go with Raph, but Mikey is right behind him. I've just always loved Raphs attitude issues and his agressiveness, while at the same time, I've always loved Mikeys playful goofiness. And the way the 2 interact together are always priceless moments for me.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
----TMNT 1 for me. At this point in my life, I was completely enamored with the turtles and I was so excited to see them on the big screen. My parents took me a couple of times and I loved it everytime. It was also around this time that I learned that the turtles had comic books as well.

----I only recently starting going to comic convetions as only recently have I started to have an interest in other comic titles as well. I plan on attending more as they are so much fun!

----I love going to the movies, the beach, and reading. I also play tons of video games.

----I collect everything TMNT. Somehow through the years, I managed to keep most of my childhood items, including everything from sleeping bags to shirts to puzzles to of course the toys. I wasn't a collector per say until high school when I started pulling all of my childhood items out of boxes and displaying them around the room. I immediately fell in love again, and started checking out flea markets and thrift shops for old tmnt goodies. I went with friends and they all thought it was cool. Some classmates who I didnt even know, but knew I was into tmnt, would bring me old things that they or their siblings were into as a kid and give it to me. However things really took off when I went to college and discovered something that completely blew me away:EBAY. I still remember my first purchase. All four turtles in package from '88 (non-flyer/pop-up versions)! I couldn't believe there were these figures and items still around in package! Thats when I discovered the craziness of the collecting world. While in college I bought alot, nothing was high dollar, as I didnt have much money. After graduation, with a paying job, things picked up and now I can afford to buy some higher ticket items, like original art (which is my current passion). Now between figures (in & out of box), vehicles, comics, art, movies, books, and miscellanouts items I have a couple thousand items. Ok, enough blabbering on...
