- My name is Allen and I'm glad to be here on TMNT-L Forums. My online name that I use online for my youtube profile and Technodrome forums is, thebrownranger. You can call me whatever you like

2.  Where are you located?
- I live in New Hyde Park, New York.

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?
- I'm 17 years old and I first heard of TMNT basically a little while after I was born.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
- I was first introduced to TMNT by the first flick. I was born the same year so I first saw it when it came out on vhs. This is why I'm very heavily influenced by the Mirage vol 1 b&w comic books.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
- Raphael has always been my favorite turtle b/c he's the badass of the turtles and I too have a temper sometimes which I can't handle. Red is also my favorite color!

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
- Without a doubt, my favorite film is the first movie. My older brother who was born in '87 (the time the old cartoon came out) had the vhs of the first movie and let me and my twin bro watch it with him in our house. Me and my bros kept watching it costantly until we knew every line of the movie. I remember one day where my older brother was watching the vhs, and when it got to the part where Raph says "I lost a sai", the vcr just started spitting out the film of the tape . My dad was loving enough to buy a new one. So yeah, you could say I'm a fanboy of the first movie and this is how I became a fan of tmnt.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.
- New York Comic Con 2008 was my first and I had a blast! I got to meet and take pictures w/ Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. I had the privilege to meet the rest of the Mirage crew.  I also got to meet many cool ninja turtles fans like Michele Ivey  I'm proud to say that TMNT was the biggest event at the con. I plan on going to many more.

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?
- I'm an artist in many ways (drawing comic book related stuff, 3d animation). I love making movies (directing, camera operating, film/sound editing). Guitar has always been a favorite. Collecting comics, transformers toys, cards, etc. All that stuff related to pop culture.

9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?
- Its mostly collecting tmnt comic books, but I do collect action figures, posters, cards, original artwork, etc. I've got the limited edition Raph statue, but I'm still looking for Leo, Mike, and Don.

11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?
- The only people that I didn't get a chance to really talk to from the Mirage crew, was Eric Talbot, and Steve Lavigne. As many of the old toon and new toon voice actors I can. As many of the cast from every TMNT movie as possible (Steve Barron, Kevin Munroe, Josh Pais, Elias Koteas,  Judith Hoag, James Arnold Taylor, Nolan North, Mitchell Whitfield, Mikey Kelly, etc.). Basically anyone who has done something official in the TMNT universe.

- From when Michele Ivey gave me her card at NYCC.

Well I like the first one. But new CGI has to be my fav. and the story behind me going to see it was 2 diff friends had special pre-passes to go see it and with in 5 mins of my friend Colin...<yes the ECW wrestler Colin> inviting me to go see it my best friend invited me to go see it

Alll i have bought all the dvds as they came out, comics im only a few away from getting all the org ones, toys i still have them and buy them, and for ect i have bought over the last few weeks is the TMNT stautes im only missing the donnie.

- I'm 26.  I believe my first TMNT was in first grade was I was 6.  So... 1988 I guess it was.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
- The cartoon.  I was, still am, a huge fan of cartoons and after I TMNT once... that was it! 

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
- Raph.  cause he's the coolest, duh.  I can relate to him.  plus because he has the original color face mask which is awesome.  and sais? who messes with a guy with sais?

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
- ok...in order:  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was the best, hands down.  TMNT is actually my second favorite.  Then Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, and finally Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II (which was awful over all)  did the turtles even use there weapons once?  Super Shredder? and the turtles didn't even fight him!  he killed himself by accident!  No Casey Jones!  A different April! and vanilla ice?  come on seriously.  but I still love it!!!!! don't get me wrong!

- I've met the TMNT crew 4 times now.  3 times in NYC.  Once in Philly.  and I've met Kevin Eastman 4 times, all in NYC, once with Simon Bisley which was awesome!  Umm.. I've been Toys 'R Us in Times Square when the had the release of the new trading cards.  I've all 4 movies at the first showing.  I'd love to go to tons more if I knew about them.  Let me know!!!

- art.  I have a BFF in Illustration.  music.  I've been in 4 bands (one currently).  I love to play shows as much as possible!!! I collect TMNT stuff like crazy!  I have a huge Star Wars collection.  I have thousands of comic books.  Including my father's huge collection from the 60's and 70's.  I have tons of different action figure collections.

- Everything!  seriously everything I can find.  I wouldn't know where to start and I wouldn't know where to end if I did start.

31 soon. I first heard of TMNT around the mid-80s.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

Passively seeing the comic books and not many people knew about them. I then got into the cartoon when it aired in the UK around 1990 which was sadly edited down by the BBC.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Michaelangelo. He's got the coolest weapons, the best attitude and is generally the one out of all 4 I could see myself hang out with. Plus. He's the Battle Nexus Champion.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

I actually liked the 3rd movie best because of it's different approach and setting. However the first movie obviously marked my first sight of live action TMNT so that has a special place in my heart. Seeing the first TMNT movie un-edited for the first time in 2004 on DVD was also a momentous occasion.

Mainly the comics and figures. Although the glow in the dark condoms Kevin Eastman once mentioned are an item I am curious about and still can't find to this day

Kevin Nash (Super Shredder) also because I am a fan of him as a wrestler too. I would like to meet some of the VAs from the new toon as well. Oh and Paige Turco too because she's hawt!

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it. Definitely the cartoon series.  I remember waiting with baited breath for it to come on. 

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why? Raphael!  I have a thing for moody characters.  I REALLY do.

Favorite is the first movie, hands down.  I've no real stories to share, except that I remember it being on the television when I came out of the hospital - quite a few times - when I needed it.

Currently 29.  I started watching when I was 10 with the Old toon, and then really got into it after the first live action movie came out.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

I met the TMNT with the OT in 1988, and then really got hooked after the first movie came out.  I was hooked.  Hooked so badly that when I was 13 my mother suggested I get into a sport and gave me the choice of a whole bunch of them, and I chose martial arts because I wanted to be like the ninja turtles.  (And well over a decade later I have a black belt in tae kwon do, training in two other forms and this odd addiction to heros in a half shell....)

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Depends on the series.  It really does.  OK, I'll admit it, my absolute fav ever is OT Raphael, and I think that's 100% the fault of Rob Paulsen (the voice actor).  I like Raphael in the movies, but not in the new cartoon - I like his as a moody loner, but not as an uncontrollable hothead.  I'm also very fond of Don, for his brains and I'm growing fonder of Mikey by the day.  That leaves Leo.  I never liked the leaders.  I don't know why.  -.-

Original Live Action movie.  Love it.  Always did, always will.  True story: my best friend came from an ultra-strict Christian family and she told me that I couldn't watch the Ninja Turtles movie (the original one) because it had a "satanic" scene in it (referring to the part where the guys speak to the spirit of Splinter.)  So I almost didn't watch it, but being rebellious kids, we snuck down and watched the neighbor's copy in the middle of the night.

No... but I work in theatre and sew, so I have a variety of odd fan-type costumes,  Including, yes, a ninja turtles one.

Oh dear.  I am a geek.  lemme get that out of the way first.  I enjoy a vast array of things including: Roleplaying (the kind with dice, yeah), video games, rollerblading, camping, historical re-enactment, making and wearing costumes, biking, martial arts, cooking and baking, classic cars, Star Trek, X-men, Red Dwarf, Forever Knight, Doctor Who, writing, reading, knitting and crocheting, drawing comics, play by e-mail games, telling stories... yeah.  Never a dull moment

I collect the OT DVDs, and a few of the new toon, and a few figures from the earlier years.  Oh, yeah and comic books,  love those, too.

My neighbor was big into it, and I would watch it growing up. Kind of phased out of it for a while but got back into it within the past few years by re-watching the movies. Trying to see the whole series [from the 80's, as well as the new one] again, but time + money doesn't really allow me too. D:

Raphael, for definitely. He is just awesome, haha. Stubborn.

The first live action movie would have to be my favorite. I don't really have any stories to share. I was too young to see in theater so usually just watch it with my friends. Actually, my first night when my friend and I moved into our new house was spent watching it. There we go!

I have not! D: I've attended NYCC, but didn't really go to any of the TMNT events. I wasn't there long enough and really found out about the convention las tminute.

I like various anime. Haven't really seen anything new in a long time. Favorites include Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gravitation , Gankutsuou and Ouran High School Host Club. I also dig Spider-Man [♥!] and love Futurama & Dexter [showtime]

Late 20's. Heard about TMNT when I was 7.

The television show mostly but as I got older I started to collect the comics. When I was in my early teens I was a huge fan of the Archies series and wrote a lot of fanfics. I've stayed a fan all these years but I don't have large collections of turtle stuff. Just myself and my interest. It's cheaper that way.

How can I pick a favorite? I like the interplay of the four, not so much any one brother.

The CGI one oddly enough if only for the sheer eyecandy of it.

It's been so long ago that I don't really remember. Probably the cartoon, though. I remember watching that, and then getting the action figures...

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Well, when I was a really little kid, my favorite was Michaelangelo- I would draw him all over my class folders, and write stories about him. It was probably because he was the "fun" one, the "party dude".

But, around the time I was 11, I'd started reading the Archie comic series more and more, and ended up switching loyalty's to Leonardo. I was, by that time in my life, more drawn to the confident personality, and his drive, leadership skills, and determination. (It was kind of embarrassing, since I pretty much had a crush on him.  )

And Leo's still my favorite to this day, though Raph might pull off a coup, given alittle more time.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

My favorite is probably the first live-action one. It's the only one I own on DVD, and I always get a little nostalgic whenever I watch it. I've really been meaning to watch the CGI one though- I watched clips on youtube, and it looked really great.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.

No, not yet. But if any events were in FL, I'd love to meet other Turtle fans.

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?

Heh. I'm a *really* big comic fan- I love Marvel (especially X-Men) and DC, and have recently started a growing DC Universe action figure collection. I'm also a fan of the Beatles, and the Monkees. (I'm soooo excited that Micky Dolenz is gonna be at Megacon in March!)

9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?

Not that much, really.  I have a whole bunch of the Archie comics. I also have a figure of Leo in the 2K3 style, and a small plushie form the 80s/90s. I've been hinting to my boyfriend that I'd like a set of the NECA turltes for Christmas, though.

I'm sorry I must have missed this when I singed up so I'll do it now.

1.  I am Canadian Turtle on all boards, but my actual name is Isaac

2.  I live in Guelph Ontario, just outside Toronto

3.  I bought my first Don figure before my 5th birthday, on my B-day everyone got me a turtle and have been hooked ever since.

4.  I really don't know. I didn't go to school until grade 7 so I guess it was friends I knew on the street or on TV. All I know is I wanted one, so I rolled up my coins and bought one with my dad.

5.  This is impossible to say. I have been asked this and thought about it so much and never really pinned it down, if I would have to say one it would be Raph because he is the most interesting character. He has the most conflict and wants the most out of all the turtles, it is his journey and us wanting him to succeed that makes him compelling.

6.  The first TMN movie 91. Is and always will be the best! I have this strange memory of the trailer being on TV. I only remember this because it had that cut shot where their shells float up in the river. I don't know why that is so strongly in my mind. Because I never got to see it in the movie, I got a chance to catch it on the big screen off an original 35mm print last year! AMAZING!

7.  No, there haven't been any good ones yet, and I can't stand the toy shows becuase they never sell any TMNT stuff!!

8.  WAYYYYY to many to list. I collect a lot of other toys, like Terminator, Aliens, Star Wars, Transformers, He-Man, and so on. But I also love Toyota Land Cruisers, making movies, and hanging out with my Girl Friend!
