1.  My name is Barbara Garcia, but I go by BLG

2.  I live in a suburb of Chicago, Il, about 20 minutes away from the city

3.  I just turned 21 a few days ago, and I've been a fan of TMNT since I was about 2 or 3 years old

4.  I believe my cousin Richard and I used to watch it every day, he was 5 at the time, and I was just in Turtle and Pizza heaven. My first official word was "turtle" when I was 2. I played with all TMNT toys, saw the movie, and eventually joined taekwondo because of them (as well as the power rangers)

5.  I love Michelangelo because he's so chill and definitely loves his pizza. I initially loved him because he used the most righteous words, such as...well, righteous and cowabunga. Now that I'm older, I love him for the same reasons. I also like Donnie because he uses my favorite weapon of all time, the bo staff

6.  The very first one made in 1990. It's my favorite because I remember watching it with my cousin and thinking that it was the biggest thing since sliced bread. I wasn't your typical 3 year old girl playing with dolls and playing dress up and blah blah blah. No, I was a turtle loving, pizza eating, cowboy boot wearing crazy kid that appreciated a big green turtle kicking some butt.

7.  Well, recently I performed at Navy Pier with some of my students for the 25th anniversary tour. I've run a couple of events at my Dojang such as kid's TMNT parties, and special child lock in TMNT parties which have been pretty fun. We played with suction cup ninja stars, watched the newest TMNT movie on and off to build obstacle courses in between. The kids were separated into teams based on which turtle they loved the most, and the eldest kid wore the color head band that went with said turtle. Leonardo started first with a jungle type obstacle course, then Raphael with the motorcycle crash course, then Mikey had his turn with a skateboard themed course, and Donnie...I'm not sure what we had for Donnie can't think back that far. But all in all, the kids (and wanna be kids like me) had a blast!

8.  Taekwondo, Pizza, Power Rangers, Cowboy Boots (I'm originally from Texas, what can I say), Country Fried Steak, Bo Staff, Pepperonis, The Monkey King, Astrology, Soccer, Basketball, Guitar, Tim Burton anything, Photography, and a whole list of other things that all tie together in some way shape or form...

9.  I've got a bunch of toys I've had since I was a youngling (which I suppose my reference to "youngling" adds Star Wars to the list above), and I've got the original movie on DVD as well as TMNT made a few years ago, the other two movies I have on VHS and I've got a few episodes on VHS also.

10.  Well, I'm on Facebook (Barbara Lucy Garcia) and myspace (simplyBLG)

11.  Kevin Eastmen of course! And Ernie Reyes Jr (almost met him once, but didn't get to)

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you prefer?   Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you?

Actually this is the only forum I am a member of, lol.  Well I usually go by Impossible2049 on most things, but since this is a TMNT themed forum I went with Gobbledygook.  You can find me on myspace too.
2.  Where are you located?
Victorville, California.  Hate it here haha.

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?
I am 23 and as far back as I can remember, other than Looney Tunes, TMNT were of my first viewed cartoons.  Probably watched my first episode around 1990 or so.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
Well the original show and the super awesome toys pulled me in at first.  Then as I got older I discovered the radness that is TMNT comic books.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
If they were real I'd chill with all of em'.  Although my favorite turtle is Raph.  I think beneath that shell of his he has the most character depth.  He is the Emotion of the group, and he is always questioning reason.  I find that interesting, and I think I relate to him the most on that.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
My favorite movie is definitely the TMNT 1.  I like its darker tone, and how it relates to the original comics.  I enjoy the more mature Turtle palette, especially now that I am older.  Of course I still have a place in my heart for the original toon.  I remember being little and my mom and dad taking me to see the TMNT 1 movie.  That was the first time that I can remember ever being really excited about a movie.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.
When I was in the 1st grade I remember my buddy Joshua invited me to his birthday party, and me and him loved TMNT, so his mom hired someone dressed as Leo to come to the party.  It was awesome, and he made us all Balloon swords.  As far as tours, sadly not too many, I did go to the San Diego Comic Con 09 this year for the Turtles 25 Anniversary.  Before that though I have been going to SD comic con for about 3 years before that, always making an effort to talk to Kevin Eastman.  He's awesome.

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?
LoL nothing.  Nah J/k, but everything else I like comes 2nd to TMNT.  I like Spider-Man and Venom Comics, Old school Sonic stuff, as well as a bunch of other things.
9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?
Oh yeah.  Actually I am a big collector...  to name a few things I own the original Konami Coin-Op Arcade games including: Turtles Arcade, Turtles in Time, and the TMNT Pinball Machine.  I have almost all of the TMNT comics ever, a lot of original figures carded and uncarded, and a bunch of other TMNT randomness.

10.  Do you have a TMNT web site and would you like to share the URL?  Also if you got a web site and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.

Nah, but if you want I did a pretty cool 3d model of the TMNT Party Wagon in Maya it's on my MYSPACE.  Add me.

11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?
Aw man, this year I got to meet the Mirage artists, so that was super cool.  I have always wanted to meet Dan Berger, he always seemed cool, and I dunno why but I love his TMNT art style.  The only person I haven't officially met still to this day is Peter Laird.  I did win an art contest though, and won an autographed TMNT 2003 sourcebook from him.  So that was cool.
12.  How did you hear of TMNT-L?
I saw Michele on that show totally obsessed and thought she was cool, especially since I am a TMNT fan/collector too.  Then later I saw her on the footage for the TMNT 25th and saw that she and her friends and family made a sewer lair room in her house.  I thought that was super cool.  I was stoked to see her at this years comic con in San Diego and Jumped at the chance to talk Turtles with her.  She then told me about this forum, and here I am.  Thanks Michele!

13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?
Nope, not yet dunno how on that one, I'm still a newb with that.

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer?   Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you?
My name is Sara, but I commonly go by Rogue online. Happy/Smile

2.  Where are you located?
San Fernando Valley, CA

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?
I'm 27 and first got into Turtles in 1986 I believe when I read the first comic

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
My dad is a big comic fan and he had picked up the first few issues.  He started reading them to me and I was hooked!

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
Mike...no matter what happens or what bad things they go thru, he's always got a positive attitude and a big heart.  I  love that about him. Happy/Smile

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
The first movie is definitely my favourite...I saw it when I was 8 years old, but we lived in a small town in Michigan so it wasn't playing at our theatres.  My dad took my brothers, sisters and I, as well as all of our little cousins (I'm the oldest, mind you) across the border into Canada so that we could see it.

I have to admit that I liked a lot of things about the new TMNT movie...the animation was amazing...Imagi did a good job with the action and fight sequences...the fight between Leo and Raph on the roof in the rain was just beautifully done.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.
Nothing formally, but I do work in the movie industry and one of my friends (who I work with quite often) realize that between us we have quite a few different TMNT shirts...so whenever we are working together on a movie, we have Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Tuesdays and wear our turtle shirts....it's pretty funny when people ask us if we're dressed alike on accident...haha.

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?
Oh geez...how much time do you have? I'm a Geek of all Trades...haha

9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?
Lessee...I have sheets, comforters, posters, toys, plushies, action figures, earrings, shirts, comics, dvds.....yeah, let's just go with all.... Wink

10.  Do you have a TMNT web site and would you like to share the URL?  Also if you got a web site and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.
None for me!

11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?
It's a technicality, but I always wanted to meet Jim Henson...now that he's died, I just want to work for his company. Happy/Smile

12.  How did you hear of TMNT-L?
I used to be a part of the old yahoo group waaaaay back in the 90s but I got out of touch.  I was recently reintroduced to this site by one of the members (who I knew a long time ago) at San Diego Comic Con.

13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?  Here's the link to do so... http://www.frappr.com/tmnt
I'll try but this website HATES me....Lol

I'm looking forward to getting back into this forum and reconnecting with some old friends, as well as make some new ones!

Later!

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer?
Jennifer, but you can call me Jenn.
Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you?
Raphlolita, or raph_lolita ... but >95% of the time I'm soliloquy. (Raphlolita came about because I dress up in a red & black lolita dress and carry around my Raphael plushie at Comic Con).

2.  Where are you located?
Currently a very cold Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?
30. I heard about the TMNT back when I was 11 or so and have been a die-hard fan ever since.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
I watched the old cartoon on television. The first episode I remember was "Cowabunga Shredhead".

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
A long time they were all my favorite, but as I get older it's become a tie between Leonardo and Donatello. Leonardo has qualities I most admire in others, and those I wish to have more of within myself. Donatello is a lot like how I am now.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
I like the first one because it reminds me the most of the darker side of the comic books. It's deep and complicated, and has my favorite characterization of the turtles out of all the movies.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.
One of the bright spots of my childhood was when I went to a car show at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City (where I grew up) and Michaelangelo was a special guest. I stood in line with all the other excited children and their parents, when I got up onto the stage Michaelangelo asked me if I would marry him. I remember giggling and blushing, and telling him I would have to think about it. I got back in line and fortunately he recognized me when I got up to him again, so he asked if I thought about it. Of course I said yes, and it made the rest of my teenage years so much happier to pretend I was engaged to Michaelangelo. Wink

I also saw the Coming Out Of Their Shells tour, and I loved the heck out of it! Still do when I watch it on video.

I've been to San Diego Comic Con twice, and the best one ever was this year's because the TMNT's 25th Anniversary!

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?
I am a science geek. I love psychology, pathology, and climatology the most. I am addicted to reading, and love books about true crime, true experiences, psychology, thrillers, textbooks (seriously, heh), antique medical books. I love surfing the Internet, mostly reading about things related to the interests I listed here already but I do hang around FaceBook and LiveJournal a lot.

9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?
Yes, I collect some of the toys, comics, DVDs, plushies, blankets, towels, shirts, notebooks, key chains, stickers, pins, pencils/pens ... I guess I collect a lot of stuff! Heh.

10.  Do you have a TMNT web site and would you like to share the URL?  Also if you got a web site and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.
 I don't, sorry.

11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?
Peter Laird. I've met Kevin Eastman and the Mirage guys - but not Peter.

12.  How did you hear of TMNT-L?
I was a member of the Topica mailing list of long ago, but didn't post much if at all. I hung around for a while when the mailing list went to Yahoo! and learned of this site when I met some members at Comic Con this year. On the first two list's incarnations I was Soliloquy79.

13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?
If I haven't already I will after I hit the "Post" button.

Also, I would like to share the Leonardo tattoo I got a week ago to celebrate TMNT's 25th Birthday! It was a commission done for me by Michael Dooney at Comic Con.

Take care,
Jenn

Hey everyone! I just stumbled onto this AWESOME site and am completely blown away by its epic proportions of epic. Now this is what I call a fansite!

So hmm... a bit about me:

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you prefer? Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to list so friends will know it's you?

You'll see me as Willowfly on Fanfiction.net, Terrapin Tarts, and Stealthy Stories. On Live Journal I go by Willowslament.

On the interwebs, some people call me Willow. But once they get to know me, they call me Ash. My real name is Ashley, but I usually prefer the nickname. I have this thing about hiding real names behind aliases for some reason. Seems... shady O.o

2.  Where are you located?

I'm going to school in Alfred, NY for the time being. It's about four hours West of NYC. But I grew up in and around Rochester, NY and no matter how far away I'll travel, it'll always be my home.

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?

I just turned 21 at the end of September. As far as hearing about TMNT? God... I was like, four?

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT?

My cousin used to watch OT reruns with me, but my aunt hated it. She tried to keep me from watching, which only made me like it more. Eventually she gave up and gave me all his merchandise in an attempt to rid her house of it XD

I fell out of it for a while until the airing of the 2003 cartoon. Once that started to suck, I turned to the fandom and comics in the Spring of '08. After the CGI movie came out, I'd been looking for pirated versions on the 'net and inadvertently stumbled into the world of fanfiction. I've been there ever since.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle and why?

Raphael (comicverse, especially). I'm so the stereotypical "everyone loves a rebel" type. But also, I just love people who can tell it like it is. He thinks about things people are afraid of thinking, and faces the issue head-on instead of walking around pretending it doesn't exist.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

I suppose it'd be the CGI, though the entire Winters plotline was bullsh*t, Mike and Don were pretty much ignored, and everyone was at least slightly OOC. Essentially I just love it for the Nightwatcher and Leonardo's Five Fold Path experiences. I would much rather watch the 2k3 cartoon or read some comics, honestly. I'm just not into that goofy "COWABUNGA!" rubbish the LA movies had. (Plus I find the costumes terrifying >>)

Give me Mirage turtles or give me DEATH!!!

Like I mentioned in question #4, the first time I saw the CGI was a cruddy, Chinese subtitled pirated version on some obscure site. But as I was sorting through Google to find it, I stumbled upon a link to Kindred Spider's (at that time Quoth the Raven) fic titled "Appliance". I was terrified to click it at first, expecting some raunchy, poorly written OOC smut fic made of 100% brain bleach. But eventually I just said 'what the heck' and clicked it anyway.

How masochistic of me...

To my surprise, I was impressed! I started surfing FF for every quality fic I could find and ate them with a spoon. From then on, I was obsessed and have been sucked into the fandom ever since.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like tours, conventions, store appearances, B-day party type turtles, ect. If so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.

No, I haven't been to anything like that. My life is sad and incomplete D:

I'm really hoping I can make it to the 2010 NYC Comicon. It's all just an issue of time and money. I'm a pizza-poor college student, so I'd have to leech off my parents for cash. But, they don't exactly approve of my turtley fandom-ness. Honestly, they think it's the weirdest thing on Earth and have tried to purge it out of me like exorcists for the last six years XD

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?

Writing (poetry, short stories, and a novel I've been working on for the past three years), reading, horseback riding, music, etc.

As far as fandoms go, I'm into Hellboy, Death Note, and pretty much anything DC or Marvel, especially Watchmen, X-men, and Deadpool

9.  Do you collect TMNT merchandise? If so which items; toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?

I own every 2k3 episode on DVD (An unnecessarily huge amount of dvds for only four seasons, btw).

Besides that I have nothing but computer files. I have pretty much every Mirage comic downloaded off bit torrent, but plan to buy some of the series for myself as soon as I have the money. I also have 19 stories and over 350,000 words archived in the TMNT portion of Fanfiction.net.

I have nearly an entire external hard drive devoted to TMNT. How sad is that? XD

10.  Do you have a TMNT website and would you like to share the URL?  Also, if you have a website and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.

You can find my award-winning stories at Willowfly's Fanfiction Page. I also used to co-run a small RPG-based fansite called The Undergrounds, but didn't have the time or energy to keep it maintained, so it died. My friends are currently in the preliminary stages of revamping it into a multi-fandom site.

11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT that you have not met and would really like to meet?

Mike Sinterklaas because he's made of WIN and so adorable I want to pet him XD

I'd love to meet any of the 2k3 voice actors, really. Dan Berger also seems like he'd be a really awesome guy in person.

12.  How did you hear of TMNT-L?

It was *vaguely* mentioned by my friend Pi90katana in a thread on Stealthy Stories like, forever ago. I'd never heard of it and wasn't expecting anything great. But the epicness astounds me O.O

I still can't get over the thread where you guys got to talk to Wayne Grayson. I was linking friends to the page all night, and they all had some pretty awesome fangirl moments XD

I squeed. I admit it. Swooned like a thirteen-year-old at a Hanson concert.

13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?

Done and done. I'm surprised to see how many Upstate New Yorkers there are! I haven't met a single one before I stumbled upon this site, and I always found it funny. That, too, made me squee XD

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer?   Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you?

My name is Richie and my screen name on here is Master Splinter or ms for short. I am also Master Splinter on The Technodrome forums.

2.  Where are you located?

St. Louis, Missouri... The middle of the map for some...

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?

I will be 26 in 2 weeks. I heard about TMNT a loooong time ago and have been a fan ever since.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

Probably the cartoon and toys. I would have my mom record the shows on VHS whenever she could and I would rewatch the tape over and over again while playing with the toys. I lost everything during the Flood of 1993 but after a long break from TMNT I am finally getting my act together and getting back into it.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Donatello... He is my favorite because he is the "geek" which I can relate to a lot.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

The first movie and Turtles Forever are probably my two favorites right now. I remember flipping out when I got the first Turtles movie on VHS for Christmas one year.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.

I can't remember specifically but I think when the first movie came out Leonardo was at the hardware store taking pictures. I was really young then so it is a little fuzzy. I also stopped by the 25th Shell-a-bration in St. Louis.

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?

Music, Movies, Computers, Quentin Tarantino, Web Design...

9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?

I have mainly toys and DVDs at the moment but I am working on my comic and art collection as well.

10.  Do you have a TMNT web site and would you like to share the URL?  Also if you got a web site and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.

www.mutantooze.org is my TMNT fansite. I also do a lot of other productions that I host off my main website www.missourimobileproductions.com

11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?

I really haven't met any professional TMNT affiliates. I have had the privilege to speak via email with a couple of artists and things like that... But nothing in person... I wouldn't mind meeting anyone who had anything involved with TMNT...

12.  How did you hear of TMNT-L?

From searching for TMNT fan sites and I have seen links to the site on The Technodrome forums.

13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?  Here's the link to do so... http://www.frappr.com/tmnt

No I have not... But I will check it out...

This looks like a great place. Thanks for having me!

Hello! I'm new to the board. I apologized if this looks like a mess. The side bar on the description box was going crazy.

1. What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer? Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you?

I do have a real name but I reserve that for real close friends. I like the name Gynoid just fine.

2. Where are you located?

Classified. Sorry, but I'm very protective of my privacy.

3. How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?

I'm 25 years old. I was familiar with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise but never considered joining the fandom. I was more of a fan of Power Rangers as a kid. I remembered watching the Next Mutation on television. That was the only Ninja Turtles show I remember being exposed to. I vaguely remember watching the 80s as a kid, but I do remember quoting Michaelangelo alot.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

Yikes. That was in 2003 when the new series begin to air on 4kids. It was one of the best things that company has ever created. I was hooked the minute the first  episode came on. And, as the rest will say, it's history.

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Raphael was one of my first loves. His character is so emotional and reminds me a bit of myself. We're both a couple of hot-headed loners.
Leonardo became my second. He was such a complexed character in the 2k3 series and complicated in the movies.
When I got older, I grew to love Donatello. I can understand why he is a fan favorite. The 2k3 series made me fall in love and appreciate his character.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
I like all four of them. The third one, while not as good as the first two, was historically correct. I've read about stuff regarding trade between England and Japan. There was never Norinaga, though. I've watched the fourth film in the theater with my mom and little brother.

7. Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect.... if so, what events? And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.

Nope. I'm an anti-social person. I can't stand crowded places or be surrounded by people.

8. What other things besides TMNT do you like?

A lot of things. Reading, books, bookstores, Ancient history...well, besides the general stuff, I also watch alot of anime and cartoons such as Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Disney Afternoon stuff, old school stuff, Transformers. I'm also becoming a bit of a science-fiction buff.
9. Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?
Well, one of my friends gave me a handkerchief/bandanna with the TMNT on the cover and a copy of the comics for Christmas. I do own most of the 2k3 series on DVD and the movie collection. That's it.

10. Do you have a TMNT web site and would you like to share the URL? Also if you got a web site and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.

Um...I don't have a website. At least not yet. I do have a fanfiction.net profile but it isn't ready.

11. Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?

Iveyangelo. After watching her on that VH-1 TV show, I wanted to meet her.

12. How did you hear of TMNT-L?

I never heard of it nor did I knew that it exhisted. I accidently stumbled onto it.
13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?
Nope. Not yet.

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer?   Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you?
My name is Anna, but I'm 1987TMNTFan on the Technodrome forums, and 1987TMNTChild on Stealthy Stories forum.  I don't have a nickname, so Anna is fine.  Or my username.
2.  Where are you located?
I'm located in Illinois, United States.
3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?
I am 30 years old, heading towards 31.  I grew up with TMNT, so I was going-on-eight when I watched the original cartoon.
4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
Morning cartoons.  Just had to watch them.
5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
Raphael.  I like his temper.
6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
The first movie.  I was at a neighbor's house and her kids had the tape.  I was enthralled.  I was 10, and us kids watched that tape over and over again.  Then we'd re-enact some of the scenes.  Not very well, but we had fun!
7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.
Nope.  Never been to anything.
8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?
Books, music, family, reading, fanfiction, movies.
9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?
I have the four movies and four VHS tapes.  That's about it.  Mom wasn't big on letting my sister and me collect too much stuff when we were little and anything I might have had, was probably donated.
10.  Do you have a TMNT web site and would you like to share the URL?  Also if you got a web site and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.
I do not.
11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?
The voice actors from the first movie.  I'd love to meet them.  It would be fun!
12.  How did you hear of TMNT-L?
Surfing the internet.
13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?  Here's the link to do so... http://www.frappr.com/tmnt
I have not, but I will.

1. My name's William and I just registered on the TMNT-L and the Technodrome forums yesterday.
2. I'm located in Ottawa, Ontario. That's in Canada, eh?
3. I'm 27 years old and first heard about TMNT back in '87 which I believe is when the cartoon series first began. I had all the toys but then, so did all of my friends.
4. Like many, the cartoons were what began this seemingly lifelong relationship.
5. Donatello... but I think I went a little overboard in my attempt to make it known. I mean, it's rather obvious and practically an overstatement. Explaining all the reasons why would take some time, so maybe later.
6. The first TMNT film would have to be my favorite... I saw it for free in 1990 with my older sister and our friends at the Paramount Theatre in Campbellton, New Brunswick. It was quite simply, unforgettable.
7. I've never been to any conventions or things of that nature. Canada isn't exactly a hotspot for that sorta' stuff... and as it stands, no one I know cares for TMNT.
8. Film, Literature, Music, Web design... I'm quite the musician, having played piano for several years. I can sing quite well too!
9. I've only recently begun collecting again... action figures, that is. In regards to TMNT, I only desire to have all four turtles from the following lines: Original, 2003 and maybe, Fast Forward. I gave all of my original TMNT figures to my nephew when he was younger. I also bought the NECA set when they were released.
10. I don't have a TMNT website, but maybe someday I'll create a little tribute or something. Maybe a Donatello-based fan page.
11. I'd like to meet those responsible for creating the original figure designs and give them a piece of my mind. Brown weapons!?!? j/k.
12. Browsing Google yesterday when I decided to join the fan community.

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer?   Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you? My name is Xavier Sterling but you can just call me "X".

2.  Where are you located? I'm located in Maryland (Oh yuck!)

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT? I'm 20, I've heard about the Turtles 20 years ago.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it. Believe it or not the Turtles taught me how to walk. Well apparently I was watching them when I was just a few months old and one day they were on T.V. and I just got up and ran to the TV shouting "URTLES!" haha. So basically I've heard of the Turtles before I was one years old. In all of my baby photos and tapes I'm wearing something with the Turtles on it or have some toy in my hand.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why? My favorite turtle would have to be Michelangelo because of his attitude. He's silly and goofy doesn't take too much stuff seriously.....just like me!

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it? My favorite movie is the first one. I first seen this when I was one years old (my family says) and that I usually cried during movies...but not through this one! Not exactly sure where I seen it though. But my god sister wanted to go see it and of course they bought me along. The rest is history.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'. Unfortunately I haven't been to any Turtle conventions, or tours, but I would like for that to change. Up until I was about 8 I had a TMNT themed birthday party every year.

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like? I love video games and horror movies. Besides collecting TMNT stuff, I also collect video games, and horror movies. For video games Im mostly a HUGE Nintendo fan, and I love slasher 80's movies.

9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all? Yep, I collect just about anything I can get my hands on. I have all of the movies in every single format they came in and I have the original series DVDs volume 1- season 8 along with a bunch of VHS tapes. Recently I've been concentrating on collecting TMNT video games for the older systems as well as the Konami 90's handhelds (ALMOST THERE!) But after I finish my TMNT game collection I'm gonna focus on the figures again.

10.  Do you have a TMNT web site and would you like to share the URL?  Also if you got a web site and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.

11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet? The standard Eastman and Laird. But honestly...FANS! I would love to meet more fans around me.

12.  How did you hear of TMNT-L? Browsing through google.com

13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?  Here's the link to do so... http://www.frappr.com/tmnt

Wow, I cannot believe I missed these forums. I mean I joined a while a go, but the address got lost, and it wasn't until I saw Michele's Cowabunga Corner blogs I was reminded of this awesome place! Let's get to some questions!

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer?   Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you?

My name is Adam. You can call me Adam, or Kiefer, or Adam Kiefer, or Cowabunga Kiefer

2.  Where are you located?

I am located in Nashville, TN

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?

I am 20 years old, and I heard of TMNT about.....15 years ago, but I really got into it....3 years ago.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

The TMNT 2007 film. It's a little complicated, but I'll be happy to share that experience with anyone who wants to know. (No, not anyone asking "The 2007 film....really?!")

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Leonardo, because well...he's awesome! No really, he has a great personality and possesses qualities I currently have and other qualities I wish I had. The perfect role model.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

Uh...sorry, guess I'll have to stick with the 2007 film (again, I can explain), but as for the others they came back to back once they started airing on TV, and later I purchased the 3-pack at Wal-Mart. Let me tell you, it was hard going away to camp with a TV and TMNT films and having to watch them with the volume down while my roommate was sleeping, to save the embarrassment.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.

No, I wish I did, but I'm stuck working for a living and going to school playing percussion.

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?

Hike, practice, N64, go out to lunch with friends, listening to music while driving my Saturn (with a CWABNGA license plate, thank you very much), and of course...tropical pole vaulting.

9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?

Whatever I can. Started with a 27x40 poster of the 2007 film, but currently just a few toys, artwork, and apparel. I'm waiting for the right price for the right toy lot to be sold, then I'll be set!

10.  Do you have a TMNT web site and would you like to share the URL?  Also if you got a web site and it's not TMNT, please share the URL as well.

No, the only other forums I've been a part of is the Technodrome forums which I heard about...about 2 years ago. Again, wish I found this place too!

11.  Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet?

Cam Clarke, voice of OT Leonardo. Who wouldn't want to meet Michele Ivey?! And other fans since around Nashville, there's just not many (and if they say they are, I don't believe them to be worthy enough). LOL

12.  How did you hear of TMNT-L?

Michele's wonderful Cowabunga Corner (what got my attention back was her mentioning a game "Name that episode" after one animation cell is posted. Oh, I loooove trivia.

13. Have you added yourself to our TMNT Group map?

Not yet, but I can....if it still exists.

Cowabunga everyone! I can't wait to read your threads and posts!

Hi Everyone!

1.  Name is Steph, user name is Stephelangelo for fun so you can go by that or just Steph.  Either works.

2.  I am currently in Asheville, NC.

3.  I am 22.  I have known about TMNT for about 2 decades.

4.  I watched the show when I was younger, not religiously, but just whenever I happened to catch it.  I had some action figures and that was about it.  I can definitely say was not a dedicated fan when I was a young kid.  The movies on the other hand I would watch all the time.  Those were just so amazing and never got old.  I was always into other things of the same genre like comics, cartoons, video games, etc. Then for whatever reason I got into TMNT when I was a teenager.  Bought the original cartoon series and just kept watching it.  Then started going back and watching the other series as well as the new show. Then I started joining tmnt websites, buying the latest games, and now I just know I am becoming a really big fan.

5.  Michelangelo if my fav of course! I love his sense of humor.  We have a lot of similar interested like playing video games, reading comics,  and watching horror movies.  And its just a bonus but I think he's the most fun to play in any of the TMNT video games.

6.  The first movie is my favorite.  It seems to be the most "realistic" for the turtles.  It perfectly matched their personalities, the costumes looked amazing, the story was so in depth and I love how Casey Jones is portrayed.  I can't remember what age I saw it but it had to be when I was maybe 4 or 5.  I must say that I do love all the movies immensely.

7.  Unfortunately I have not been to any events...yet.  Although I watched the cartoon when I was young and had some action figures, I didn't get really into TMNT until I was actually a teenager.  At that point I didn't even know what events existed for TMNT until recently that is.

8.  Big fan of old school horror movies like Reanimator, the romero zombie movies, the fly, etc.  I am really into sci-fi, watch a lot of star trek.  I also play a lot of video games from n64/ps1 up to ps3.

9.  I must admit the only things I have right now are the original cartoon series and all the movie dvds.  I have seen most of all the cartoon series so I would like to own those as well some day.  I am really enjoying reading the comics whenever I get the chance to.  But in the last year or so I am getting really into TMNT where I just can't stop watching the cartoons.  I finally have a decent size apartment where I can actually fit a collection.   I am starting to look up things I would like to collect.  The big thing I would really like to get into is collecting the toys.  I am not necessarily looking for packaged stuff, but just out of the box toys to just have fun with.

10.  I do not have a tmnt website but I am a web designer and flash developer and have a portfolio site: http://www.digitalmediagirl.com

11.  I actually have never met another big tmnt fan.  Although my fiance is into them and will watch the shows with me and play the games with me.  I have been watching Michele Ivey's Blog and I think she is awesome!  She seems like the type who knows what she loves and knows how to have fun.  It would be cool to meet her and definitely see that awesome collection she has.  I used to go to anime conventions and I would really like to start going to them again and maybe meet up with some fellow tmnt people.

12.  I heard about tmnt-l Through Michele actually because she had posted something about it on facebook.

1.) Hello, my name is Chapman, and you can call me whatever you like.

2.) A small town in eastern Kentucky. =(

3.) I am 19 years old, and I've been aware of the turtles for as long as I can remember.

4.) Like many, the original 1987 animated series is what introduced me to TMNT. Being born in 1991, I sort of caught the tail-end of the Turtle craze of the late 80s and early 90s. I began watching the reruns and the VHS tapes and I was absolutely hooked. What really catalyzed my turtle obsession was the TMNT video games; most notably Turtles in Time for the SNES.

5.) Making me pick my favorite turtle is like making me split my heart into 4 pieces, haha. But if I had to choose my favorite turtle, it would definitely be Leonardo. I'm a sucker for the whole 'hero' persona that he has and I find his determination and overall calmness to be very admirable. Also, he arguably has the coolest weapons of the four.

6.) The original 1990 TMNT movie is hands down my favorite turtle movie. I feel that it perfectly blends the Mirage comics and the 1987 cartoon to satisfy both kinds of fans. I have no special stories to share about seeing the movies, as I was too young to have seen them in theaters, so I mainly watched them on VHS at home.

7.)  Unfortunately, no. =(

8.) Collecting and playing video games has been my main hobby for many years now. I collect/play video games across all systems from the Atari 2600 to the PS3. As mentioned earlier, the TMNT video games made a big impact on me as a kid and kept the turtles relevant in my life even when I sort of 'grew out' of the animated series.

Other than that, I am really into music and film. I also love literature and I am an aspiring writer.

9.) I haven't really began 'collecting' TMNT stuff until recently. Before, I was strictly a video game collector but now my video game collecting has been pushed aside to make room for my growing TMNT collection. I mainly collect comics, DVDs, and old VHS'. I would love to get into collecting the figures but quite frankly, I don't think I can afford it, haha.

10.) I do not have a web site or anything of the sort but I have been thinking about starting up a TMNT youtube channel containing a series of vlogs on my TMNT collecting and other things of that sort. If I ever get around to doing that, I'll gladly share it on here if you'd like.

11.) I have not met anyone that has done something TMNT related but I would love to meet Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, of course. I would also love to meet Cam Clarke and the rest of the voice cast from the 1987 animated series.

12.) I heard of this site from The Technodrome forums (another TMNT fansite).
