I have gone through lots of online handles in the past. They change as I change and grow (and mutate?). I prefer Chloris. I don't know many people, so my friends know it's me

Just about to turn 25..  I was one of those who was a fan of the cartoon back in the 80's. Now I'm not. I also used to put small objects in my mouth but I don't do that anymore either.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

I suppose the cartoon. Then when I was in my early teens I found the original comics and have ever since been a fan.

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

If forced to say by gunpoint I would say Leo. But really what I enjoy about tmnt is the character interactions, not specific characters. A Leo alone is a sad sad creature indeed.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

Number one becuase I like the "gritty" look of things, and the darkness and naturalness of the farm. When thinks are polished and perfected they lose their charm. I never owned a copy of it until I was in my late teens. I used to watch it at my cousins house (not by blood) whenever we went there because it was the only time I ever got to see it. It fed my creative tmnt love until the 2k3 cartoon.

Absolutely not. I'm both shy and reclusive and kind of happy that way. I wouldn't mind meeting some people at a tmnt convention but I have no money and no way of traveling right now. Maybe someday...

Comics.. I have a few of the original 2k3 cartoon toys, a few stuffed turtles..the entire 2k3 cartoon on three or 4 vhs tapes. I stopped watching when FF came out. I have no interest in it. That's about it.

I just turned seventeen in March. I've known about TMNT for a while, but didn't become a fan until '03.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

Well, I was channel surfing one day and saw Notes from the Underground Part 1. I was like: Oh! Cool! TMNT! I remember this- my uncle used to watch! But then I didn't get to see it for a while... not until Turtles in Space. Then I was hooked. I bought the VHS of The Shredder Strikes Back and the rest is history (I now own all of the new series on VHS or DVD).

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Leonardo. His character is very intense, I just love getting inside his head. He has all these little inner twists and turns. And he can be very sweet.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

The newest one! Oh! I died and went to heaven! I saw it opening day, the day after that, and the Saturday after that! Each time, I went in my TMNT movie shirt, mask, which I wore around my neck, and wearing TMNT Airhead tatoos on my arm. Oh yeah- brought my sword too.   My third viewing, there was this little kid who kept talking- he was so sweet. He was very concerned about Leo fighting Raph- he thought they didn't love each other. His parents let him sit with me and explain everything to him.

Yes! I have a bunch of action figures- my movie Leo I keep by my bedside. I also have a poster, and a giant towel, the novelization. I already mentioned the movies and DVD’s. I have the CD and CD player. And my favorite! A limited, special edition PBBZ reprint of the Volume 1, Number 1 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book, signed by Peter Laird! I won it in an art contest!

18, and I've been a casual fan since I was little -- I remember playing with the toys of the '87 series when I was very young, and I do remember watching it quite a bit. I even watched the Next Mutation when it was on, and I vaguely remember sitting down to the movies a few times. Unfortunately, I fell out of it, but the new movie made me remember why I loved it so much -- and now I'm reading the comics, watching the shows and movies, and emmersing myself in a fandom I wish I had never left.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

I really don't remember XD Like I said before, my earliest memory was of playing with the toys and watching the 87 cartoon. It was probably a next door neighbor or my uncle who got me into it.

Good lord, it's hard to pick. I had a purple betta fish named Donatello when I was young (about 3 or 4) ^0^ I remember him being my favorite for the longest time, but who can say what goes through a young girl's mind at that age? As of late, I'm afraid I must admit to being a Raph fan, although Mikey comes in a close second.

I do not remember my first viewing of the original TMNT movies, but I don't remember when I first saw Star Wars, either. :3 I really like the newest movie, but the first one isn't bad either.

3. How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT? I turned 31 yesterday! Yes, I'm old, hehe, but young at heart! Wow, I was a fan before I actually saw them! Back in 1989 i saw those coming soon commercials for the old toon and was already hooked! I was so excited, and when they started I taped every episode. When I went into hospital to have my appendix out...the first thing I asked after coming out of theater was "did i miss the turtles?" hehe

Michelangelo has always been my favourite, because of his lighthearted approach to life, his wit and the way he takes hold of life and squeezes every drop of enjoyment from it that he can! But I have recently become drawn to Raphael as well for his intensity, his depth.

And I took all the money i had saved from the bank and bought about 10 pre sale tickets to the opening night! Then I invited all my friends along just so I could share the experience!

Couple of people had mentioned the toon was good...then I watched a little of an episode, it was "..Shrinking Turtles". So i was initally confused, thinking that the turtles were ALWAYS tiny.

I like the quiet power Don seems to have. I relate to Mirage Mikey a lot.

1. What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer? Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you? I'm best known as Kismet, but I'm also Kinectra and Jaganashi. Feel free to call me Kiz, as many do.

2. Where are you located? At the moment, Florida. The Daytona Beach area.

3. How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT? 20, and have loved the TMNT since I can remember. The first birthday party to my recollection was TMNT themes with a Mike cake and turtle party favors.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it. The old cartoon, when I was a kid. That lead to playing pretend ninja turtles with the neighborhood boys. I refused to be April, and my ninja skills were often tested (to approval) for my position as Donatello. Movies, comic books, and fanfiction followed over the years, in that order.

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why? Although I love all of them more than people will say is healthy to love fictional characters, Donatello has been my favorite since childhood. His cool, his calm, his intellect and productiveness. How he expresses his care and concern for his friends and family, his wit, and his sometimes biting tongue (more so in the comics). He is the easiest character for me to slip into to write or to RP.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it? The first movie. It seems like I've had them forever, but if I need a little evening of comfort, I'll grab a slice of pizza or other snack, and watch TMNT. It brings back a time when the world seemed less complicated, and their universe merged with my own in innocent wonder.

7. Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect.... if so, what events? I've bought TMNT merchandise at conventions, but have yet to attend any sort of appearance or event.

8. What other things besides TMNT do you like? Many genres and mediums of Fantasy. Marvel comics, Laurell K Hamilton novels, poetry...I also love to write short stories and poetry, myself.

11. Who is someone that's done something TMNT, that you have not met and would really like to meet? Really, I'm far more interested in meeting other fans. I'm planning a backpacking trip across the US in 2008, and already have a list of fellow fans that want to host me for a night (or a week).

12. How did you hear of TMNT-L? When I had first acquired Internet years ago, I was thrilled to find such an assortment of other fans who were just as obsessive or more so than I was. I joined the mailing list, then dropped it shortly after due to content. Ivey said that the forums are much better, so I thought that I'd poke around and see if it's a good nesting spot.
