I was in Singapore at the time and I saw this crazy cartoon and toys in Toys R Us and I was intrigued.  I was also intrigued at how big that place was.

Leonardo, honour and all that.

I'm not sure - prob the first one, it was a larf.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT; please tell us a little bit about it. My TV then once I got older around my teens I found the comics and was truly hooked.

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why? This is a rough one because I adore them all for different aspect of their personality. I think Don is adorable and sweet, plus he reminds me of the guys I hung out with in high school. However, I am a big fan of the Samurai and the classic tortured hero story so I figure Don and Leo are neck and neck for me.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it? The first by far! It is feels most like the comics. I saw it when it first came out in the theater.

7. Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store appearances, Bday party type Turtles... etc.... if so, what events? Gothic Lolita fashion (this will explain it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gothic_lolita), Visual Kei/ J-Rock, Japanese culture, Samurai culture, J-Horror, Ghost Stories, Comic books mostly DC...I Martian Man Hunter!!, Singing/performing, making costumes, RPG gaming, Anime/Manga, Little Apple Dolls, 80's music.

Just call me Rogue. Same name everywhere else. And no, it has nothing to do with the X-Men, though I like them to. I'm just kind of a loner, which seems pretty funny considering which turtle is my fave. What can I say? Opposites attract!

Dirrrty South a.k.a. Sweet Home Alabama. Nope, I don't have that accent and I hate 'Bama Stereotypes'.

3. How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?
22 and I honestly can't remember a time when I wasn't a fan. Always loved 'em.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.


A folder that I snagged from my cousin. It had old Toon Mikey and Raph on it. I remember I was all like "Awww... how adorable!" Heh heh, my cousin quickly informed me that they were 'badass ninja, not cute and cuddly'. Heck, you can be both~ right? Soon after I stumbled across the cartoon and it's been love ever since.

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?


Mikey. He's a much needed light in the darkness. His spirit is essential to the group and I think often times people fail to see his true worth. The guy has a heart of gold and the ability to see the positve aspect of any given situation. I'm often depressed, and even his corny jokes manage to put a smile on my face, so yeah~ that makes him a winner in my eyes. Sappy, but he's good therapy.  I also love the girly scream.  

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

The first is my fave. I remember going to the theater to see it with my cousin. For the week following that, I thought "Damn" was the coolest word ever! Heh, I got my tail tore up for that~ thanks Raph. I also like the other two, and thought Mitsu was a dumb-dumb for not hooking up with Mike in the third. Gal just don't know what she missed out on!

Horror movies, Resident Evil, The Crow, Spider Man, X-Men, Evanesence, Linkin Park, Eminem. I love animals, especially reptiles. I even own a few~ or they own me actually.

 I'm not a massive collector, though if I had more space, I surely would be. I have most of the DVD's, the movies and toons, both new and old. I still have my old figures from my childhood though they've really been through it! I have a set of the new turtles, and the turtle tots which tie for favoritism with the rubbery movie figures. Too cute! I also have a few comics, and two games for playstation 2.

as i stated in my last answer....raphael seemed like someone i could get along with - even tho they are short-tempered......plus i like his attitude....(he does what he wants....and how he wants to do it)
i love that.

The 1st movie is my all time favorite of the trilogy. I saw it in the theater...so whenever that was.
The 2nd and 3rd are OK....but I usually watch the 1st one and still chuckle at the jokes.

I went to a Big Apple Comic Convention in NYC a few years ago - and I scored some pretty dope memorbillia

3. How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT? I'm 23. Been a TMNT fan since I was 7.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it. Ah yes, I got roped in with the '80s toons. That version of the Turtles ruled my childhood. When the new 'toon came out in 2003, my reaction was "WTF?" But I gave it a chance and now I'm a reborn Turtle fanatic! I love the new series, and I've also just recently started getting into the comics.

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why? This has changed over the years. When I was younger, my faves were Mikey and Raph -- Mikey for his fun-loving personality and Raph for his 'tude. Now, I look up to Leonardo. The adult me can appreciate his leadership and dedication.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it? The first one, definitely. I saw it in the theater, but because I was so young, I don't remeber actually going to the movies. All I have is a Kodak of a little girl (me) with some guy dressed up in a Donatello costume. TMNT1's combination of those fun-loving teenagers combined with the more serious aspects of their story makes it a favorite from childhood into adulthood. When I was young, I did enjoy all three movies, although now I gotta say that I like TMNT3 as a second fave and find TMNT2 to just be OK *ducks*

7. Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect.... if so, what events? And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'. Uh, I've been in the city numerous times, but that's about it (we Jerseyans just refer to NYC as "the City.")

8. What other things besides TMNT do you like? I LOOOOOVE hockey, which means I actually have something in common with Casey Jones other than the fact that neither of us are mutants! I'm a huge New Jersey Devils fan, and I also have been playing ice hockey for about a year and a half. I also love soccer. The World Cup is the best! I've played soccer for the past 12 years, including in high school and junior college.

3- Im 26 but in a few days Ill be 27 .....(getting older is no fun) I think since I was like eight or nine years old

4- The first thing was the old toon I got totally hooked and just coudnt miss an ep and somehow I fell in love with the characters

5- At this point I really like the four of them.. but my favorite has always been Mike I think its cause he is the one I relate the most in my life somehow I think he is one of the mayor reasons I got so hooked with the show.

6-My favorite is the second movie cause of the costumes even if the first movie had a better script the costumes of the second movie just amaze me till today, My mom took me to see all the movies and she was always complaining on it ( cause I would make her take me several times ) after that I would rent them and watch them over and over  and she would be all "are you watching that again"  thankfully now Im the proud owner of all the DVD's and I still watch them as much as I want  (yes even TMNT 3)

7- I went to a mall event once when I was very little so I hardly remember I only remember Leo giving me his authograph now I usually go to events like Anime Expo or Comic con I also went when they had the turtle challenge at disney eggsplosion.

8-Going out with friends, drawing,watching movies, watching toons ,traveling, lots of stuff... I hate feeling bored.

I can't even remember the name of it, but I went to the convention in Portsmouth (just over the river!) celebrating the 50th issue of Volume 1.

I'm a musician and a music fan (especially metal). I also write an read quite a bit. I have to admit, though, I spend an awful lot of time window-shopping at the mall! I enjoy a good video game once in a while, too.
Oh, and earlier this year, I discovered I enjoy travelling, when I took a trip to Norway. I hope to travel up north some more.

Well, I went to the Big Apple Con and met Dan Green and Wayne Grayson and lotsa other people.

Good thing you asked that lol. I LOVE Yu-Gi-Oh (even though it's been off the air for 2 months because all the series ended ), The Lion King, WARRIORS books, I have a very big intrest in Voice Acting and hope to be one when I grow up.

1. David Ellis. Call me Wyzeguy or Wyze if you want. Some people might know me as Wyzeguy from a few years back when I was active with the TMNT fandom. And my handle is wyze2099 on the Technodrome forum.

3. I'm currently 27, and I first heard about the TMNT a few months before the '80s cartoon first premiered. There was a promo commercial for the upcoming cartoon. It looked like the most moronic show possible, and I promptly forgot about it. Later on, I started seeing commercials for the toys, causing me to wonder what the show might actually be like. And soon enough the cartoon premiered, and it wasn't nearly as awful as I'd expected ... but it was exactly as weird as I'd expected.

4. That invention called the television.

5. Leonardo, who has a lot of discipline I wish I had, as well as a lot of internal conflict that makes him a fascinating character. Though really, I like all four Turtles and most of their supporting cast so much I have a hard time picking a favorite.

6. The first movie is my favorite, because it had all the action I was anticipated, and tons more character drama. I really liked how it showed the Turtles and Splinter as a family, and even had them refer to one another as brothers. I hadn't seen that in the cartoon, and it was a new way of looking at them. Also, I was first able to see the movie as a birthday present, which made it even better.

8. I like writing, comic books, computers, artwork, martial arts, video games, movies, and the opposite sex.

9. Currently I collect TMNT comic books and video games.

10. I don't currently have a TMNT-related website, other than Wyze World, my own website with some TMNT fanfiction. Currently, the primary website I run is 2099 UnderGround Revised, a fanfiction site concerned with Marvel Comics' late, lamented 2099 line.

11. I'd like to meet Eastman & Laird, certainly. So far the only TMNT-related creators I've 'met' (online, anyway), are AC Farley, Gary Carlson, and Erik Larsen, all of whom have contributed to the TMNT comics.

I am 31, I heard of TMNT 20 years ago.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
Well, during Christmas vacation in '86 I had a cold and was stuck in bed and the very first episode was on after i think G.I. Joe or Transformers. Since I did not have a remote control back then and I was sick in bed, I did not change the channel and decided to watch this new cartoon. I eventually kept up on it for 3-5 years or so then lost intrest.

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
Back in the day it originally was Leonardo because Cam Clark was the voice. That eventually changed and Donetello became my favorite cause of how savy he is where technology is concerned.

I liked Secret of the Ooze best. And I cant really think of a story... other than back in HS when that movie came out we had these pudding pies in the cafeteria. It was part of some promotion for Secret of the Ooze so the pugging in it is green. Well, I took a bite out of it and though it would be funny to throw it in the air and spin it so the pudding flys out. Well it did better than I thought and hit a couple of teachers

My name is Brit.  Since I have a rather unusual username it is easier to call me by this nickname.

Louisville, Kentucky.  I've lived here pretty much my whole life.



3. How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?

I am 23 years old.  I first heard of TMNT back in around 88 or 89.



4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

I was on a t-ball team in '89, when I was around 5-6.  We had a team called the ninja turtles and I remember how my mother and I did so much to help promote the team.  We even made a banner on our old Apple IIe computer print shop program that said Go Ninja Turtles! on it.  I never really became a fan until around 1990, when I really started getting into the series.  My mother bought the big books, contaning stories like 'the magic crystal', and a few others, but I do not recall them all off the top of my head--it's been sooo long.  I was really into it for at least several years, watching the reruns and new saturday morning episodes every week.  It was the most amazing show for me because it had the action and the light-hearted humor that always seemed to captivate me.  It's one of those shows you always remember.  

I'm currently into the new Fast Forward series and will be watching regularly.  It has been rough trying to find a new show with all of my most recent shows becoming canceled.  I stumbed across this series last weekend channel surfing and was pleased with the new show.



5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Oh, man....hard one.  It's been too long, once again...  I think I always liked Michealangelo because he's the funny one...he always kept me laughing. =)



6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

It has been a very long time since I have seen the movies......I saw the third one when it played on television a few years ago, but caught only the last few minutes.  I do need to watch all three of these again.



7. Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect.... if so, what events? And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.

I have been to the San Diego Comic Con for the 2000, 02, 03, 04, and 05 years...but have never been on any turtle related tours or cons.



8. What other things besides TMNT do you like?

Jimmy Neutron was and still is a real favorite of mine.  I got into the series several years ago for the action, romance and humor.  It is in danger of not returning with another season as of right now.  I really hope it can stay on at least another year or so.

I also enjoy fanfiction...I read quite a bit and have written a few JN fics.  I also enjoy meeting new friends online, chatting, blogging and surfing the web.  The computer is one of my favorite hobbies of mine.



9. Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?

I don't think I have the books that I once had when I was little...I also used to have stickers and toys from the fast food places, but unfortunately, I think I gave them all to good will or sold them in garage sales. =/

Im 13(almost 14) in 2006. I heard of TMNT 'bout 3 years ago.

It was an old-fashioned cartridge computer game. it seems interesting. so i went on the internet to find more about TMNT.

My fav is Leonardo because he is calm, gentle, kind, etc. And also, he's fast in the TMNT ps2 game(battle nexus and mutant nightmare) i always get impatiant in games . so i figured that he will be my fav.(plus i like his Voice )

I think i dont have any movie favorites for TMNT, because the first movie in 1990 was sold in Malaysia in 2006.. (it was pretty late) but i think maybe the TMNT movie 2007 will be nice.
