Over 30 & that's all I'll say about my age.  Heard about TMNT since 1987 when KTXH-20 in Houston had TMNT.  But didn't get into TMNT until Ninja Turtles; The Next Mutation.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

Hands down, I have to say the Coming Out Of Their Shells Tour when TMNT traded their weapons for band instruments, which I consider very cool!

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Toss-up between Raph & Mikey.  Raph's the rebel of the group who got to drive a motorcycle.  Mikey's the fun-loving party dude who knows how to have fun, also like him as Turtle Titan.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

Liked the first & third.  Didn't care much about the 2nd.  Also liked the 2007 version.

Have a couple of NT; TNM figures (Raph & Mikey) & from the current series I have the original Shell Cycle, Leo & his motorcycle, Don & his motorcycle, Turtle Titan figure, Raph, Leo & Mikey on their Combat Cruisers, a super-sized Mikey figure that came with the TMNT 3 DVD, TMNT 1990 & 2007 movies on DVD,  also Coming Out of Our Shells on cassette tape & the song book sheet music of the first TMNT movie.  Also a Raph & Mikey figures from the TMNT 2007 movie.  Mikey's srunt cycle from TMNT 2007 toyline.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it. Dang-- Mainly I heard about it at the San Diego comic convention back when it WAS a comic book convention, not a four day promotional thing by everyone and their brother...

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?  Leonardo-- Eldest, most dedicated, the one who needs to loosen up the most because he sometimes feels the most pressure to be "in charge"-- I'm the oldest in my family too.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it? If I have to pick, to be honest, the first-- it's the only one I saw.  AND it was so cute, I went to a matinee, and that scene where Raph is about to get jumped on the rooftop?  This little girl in the audience shouted out "LOOK OUT RAPH!!!" as loudly as possible!  LOL!

7. Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect.... if so, what events? And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.  Nope, but I had a TMNT cake last year for my end of the school year party-- I still have the figures.

9. Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all? DVDs of the current series, LOTS of Leo figures (a few of the others as well)-- comics not so much-- the new ones kind of urk me-- I hate the art work-- but the old stuff is always nice to have.

Yes, but Not right now-- it's lame, it's basically where I post my stories-- since I started posting at ff and stealthy, the only things I put up at mine are my OCs anymore-- and I haven't updated in a LONG time!

Any of the voice actors.  I "met" Kevin Eastman in the 90s with a small group of my students-- that was cool-- would like to meet Peter Laird-- any of the show writers!  But yeah, the voice actors!!! LOVES me the voice actors!

Real name is Lisa, nickname is Lisardo.  One other place I went by Lisangelo tho.  But yeah I go by Lisardo.

*cringes* 26 now, tho I really am not on the interior, and it shows, heh!  I heard about TMNT back in the late 80s when it was becoming big.

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
 
The Original Series cartoon.  It was such a big fad back then.  When I was in lik 4th grade I believe our entire school created a group which planned parties and what-not.  Guess what they called themselves.....'Turtles'!  

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

I’m a huge Leonardo fan.  He’s my fav, and for all the right reasons.  He’s brave, heroic, smart, a good leader able to think things thru, and he’s the most mature of the group.  I’ve also come to know him in other ways.  He’s provided good support emotionally to his friends.  He cares a lot about his friends and family and is willing to do anything for them, even if it means sacrificing himself.  Such a strong character indeed.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

Definately the first one.  At the time I didn't care for it cuz I thought it was rather gritty, not knowing the comics existed.  I thought the TMNT were just goofy and fun and pizza-loving.  But later I came to discover the early Mirage and loved them!  Plus I later loved the first movie.  The second movie is a close.

7. Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect.... if so, what events? And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.

Not the Tour, but I have been to various comic book cons.  I've been to Motor City Con a number of times; San Diego Con once, AnimeNext once, Mid-Ohio Con once; think that's it.  Mostly I was meeting up with other TMNT fans and occasionally meeting or going to panel discussions of TMNT guests (VAs, producers, artists, etc.)

8. What other things besides TMNT do you like?

Fandom-wise: Batman, Spiderman, Xmen, Peter Pan, other superhero comic book characters, and sci-fi type things.  In general: I am an artistic person always doing artsy things whether it be thru traditional or digital means.  I am not much of a writer but have many times thought up creative story ideas after watching certain movies/shows.  I also love walking in the outdoors.  Nature really fascinates me.

9. Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?

Yes!  Well not as much as I used to, but still here and there.  I collected the comics and the figures.  I also have old paper clippings and advertisements of the TMNT.

 I'm 23, and I heard about the TMNT about 17 or 18 years ago

4. What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.
 I think what first introduced me to the TMNT was the first movie, it was so long ago that I can't really remember. I remember stopping at a gas station on the way back up from my grandma's and looking at the movies in the rental section of the store. I saw the movie sitting ther among the other movies, and I really wanted to watch the movie just based on the front cover. So, I was able to rent the movie and watch it. I don't remember watching the movie itself, only thinking that the movie was the coolest thing I saw(I was 6 or 7) and was instantly hooked.

5. Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?
 Raph. I think it's his whole entire personality that attracts me to him. He's this mysterious person who has all these complexities that one doesn't see unless he decides to show them. That and he's sorta like me.

6. Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?
I really have no movie that is a favorite over the others.

I've known of the Hero Turtles ever since I brought to life, I've been around since June 19th, 1998.

I was first introduced to Hero Turtles by Andrea, my creator who is also a Hero Turtles Fan.

I love them all.

I was not around when the movies came out, though I have seen them on DVD and they're all great.  I don't have a favorite.

I have done lots of events like Botcon and San D Comic Con, keep an eye on my livejournal for updates.

I enjoy the music of the Beatles and classical music such as Mozart, Vivaldi and Bach. I greatly admire renaissance art, particularly that by Leonardo DiVinci and Michelangelo Buonarroti. I often read Shakespeare's fine plays and am currently reading "King Lear".  My favourite author is Roald Dahl, Because I am a child at heart I particularly like Esio Trot and the Witches. I also read Dick King Smith and Enid Blyton.

I don't buy TMNT stuff, though sometimes people give me stuff... like I have a Raphael napkin and a few other small items.  I don't collect too much, because I travel a lot.  The more stuff I end up with, the harder it is to travel.

I love music rock, hip hop, r&b, pop just about all genre and all decades 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s (love 80s music) and 90s. Love video games, I'm actually watching X-Play on G4 as I'm typing this. Some of my other favorite shows are Buffy, MST3K, and Passions

I have just about all the comics from Mirage, Image and Archie even the Dreamwave issues. Though I do need to catch up on volume 4. All the DVDs and a bunch of action figures both based on the new show and the old one.

It was on right after I got in from school and beat anything else that was on.

I identify with Raph's attitude, I love Mikey's almost idiot-savant ways (sneaky smarts), Donny gets my love for massive geek chic. Leo... uh. You know, I don't dislike him, but I haven't got anything in particular that I really love about him.

I liked Turtles 1 best. In my humble opinion, it was just the best of the 3 movies, especially costume-wise. For the longest time, I had so much trouble why it was so painful to wasch T-3, but Ivey has since opened my eyes to what my brain was detecting all along: Frogs. Massive Frogs. No real story, there. Just went to the drive-in with my folka and my sister.

Sims, anime, friends, anime, Sims, friends, friends.Also, I'm a Harry Potter buff. Until the next book comes out, I'm trying to suppress my love, simply because it makes me crazy. Seriously, I start thinking about all of the little clues and trying to solve the next book. Frankly it's loopy and I burden my friends with enough simmie and anime stuff. lol.

The first one is the best, but I do love Vanilla Ice in part 2.

OK. Bear with me, everybody! This is only my second attempt at this kind of thing! Well, (DEEP SIGH!) Here's my answers!

1. I got a tip from a fellow "turtle" on this site, that "HUN" was not used yet, so too bad, IT"S MINE! HAHAHAHAHA!

2. Somewhere deep in a California valley, and I've been trying to escape this place for 12 years now!

3. Why is everybody scared to give their age? I'm 43, going on 14. I love all kinds of cartoons! I first got hooked on the TMNT during the 80s version's fourth season.  Ever since then, I saw and own the movie trilogy and each episode! I'm a Turtle addict now! COWABUNGA!(I know, old school!)

4. Well, my Turtle Addict younger brother kept nagging me to try them when they first aired. It wasn't easy; after the first three years they were on the air I thought the whole concept was "the stupidest thing I ever heard of"(no offense, folks!)! When I found out that James Avery played the Shredder back then, I got hooked! I still love to hear his witty comebacks every now and then!

5. Well...(Leo's gonna HATE me for this!), it WAS Leonardo because of his honesty, integrity and bravery. Now as I've grown (UGH!) older and grumpier, I've been relating more to Raph. He is my true fave Turtle now! Sorry, Leo, but "I GOTTA BE ME! RAPH-N-ROLL!!" I told you I'm hooked!

6. Do I ever! My college friends and I saw the first one on our movie night when it first came out. I still like to watch my video! That was where I officially switched favorite turtles. My brother told me that they were finally following the comics when the movie came out, and naturally, that story is better! The music, the script, the acting, the costumes-ALL RAD! Even the Shredder was in his prime then! I can honestly say that nothing beats the original, but we'll see what happens with this next one I hear is coming!

7. I should get my brother involved in this forum(In fact, I think I will!). He is more of the convention goer in my family! I have a "ball and chain(MAKE THAT TWO!)" holding me down here, and I don't get around much anymore. Someday, I'll escape! Seriously, I am happily married with a daughter who loves Sonic the Hedgehog first and TMNT second. Oh well, one out of two ain't bad!

1.  What is your name, and which nick name would you perfer?   Also do you have nicknames from other boards that you'll like to lists so friends will know it's you?

The full name is Absaraka Windholder.  Absaraka would be the equivalent of a "first name" before human law, Windholder would be the "surname."  Raka is just fine for casual conversation, and it will save you a lot of typing.

2.  Where are you located?

Just outside Washington, DC.  Close enough to town to be able to catch my beloved Washington Capitals whenever they're in town.

3.  How old are you, and how long ago did you hear of TMNT?

32, and 18 years, in that order.

4.  What first introduced you to TMNT, please tell us a little bit about it.

The mini-series, and there's nothing I feel I can say about it that hasn't been said several times already.

5.  Who is your favorite Turtle, and why?

Raphael.  The chorus of "Everything You Want" by Vertical Horizon sums up the "why" much neater than I ever could.

6.  Which of the TMNT movies is your favorite, and do you have any stories to share about why, when and where you first saw it?

Three, and bap away.  Saw it because it was TMNT.  I was down in Orlando, at the (now closed, I think) Navy training base they had there.  I was at the First Lieutenant's office at the time, and Three was showing at the theater on base.  They ran it two consecutive nights, and I literally BEGGED everyone else there to spot me on evening color guard so I could see it both nights.  I ended up doing evening colors for like four nights in a row, Thursday to Sunday night, but it was worth it.

7.  Have you been to any TMNT events like Tours, conventions, Store apperances, Bday party type Turtles... ect....   if so, what events?   And please feel free to make a post about it in the 'TMNT fandom' under 'other'.

Saw the show they did at Disney-MGM.  Got my picture taken with Raph, who actually gave me a playful cuff just below my left shoulder when I told him my buddies from basic dared me to take the picture six months before.  I can still show you the exact spot just below my left shoulder where he hit me.

8.  What other things besides TMNT do you like?

Capitals hockey (I've got season tickets, thank you), Su Doku, televised poker every so often, "The Amazing Race", PS2 games that aren't too gooey-bloody, Dean Koontz, Sharon Shinn's "Archangel" series, Kakuro, energy healing, the paranormal...

9.  Do you collect stuff of the TMNT, if so which items.. toys, comics, dvds, ect, or all?

DVD's and larger figures, with a few comics here and there, and a few miscellaneous odds and ends.  I've got about a dozen decks of the current-issue TMNT playing cards, a bunch of them MIP.

No TMNT site of my own, but I do have Store One, my e-commerce site.  It's right here, and I've got it in my sig as well.  Lots and lots of good stuff there, but alas, no TMNT as of yet.

That I have yet to meet?  Probably Josh Pais, because he both acted as, and gave voice to, Raphael.

23.  I heard of TMNT when I was 8 and lost track of it sadly from all the moving growing up

I basically just stumbled upon it.  One of my old friends from when I was a kid watched it and her mom became my babysitter so after school we watched the show and played the game on NES

Raph, it used to be Don when I was younger.  I don;'t know why really, probably because I can relate to him more than the others
