It would totally depend on the circumstances. If the person had expressed an interest in seeing the show, possibly (especially if it was someone I had gotten together with a few times before). If it was just a matter of "I think you'll like this", I'd show a few eps to see if they wanted to watch it. If I was the one visiting, it would also have to be something I'd have an interest in.  Some people don't want to travel for miles/hours to visit someone, only to spend their time sitting around watching tv/movies.

Depends on if the person visiting wanted to see the boxed set. Some people are happiest visiting when they are doing something they enjoy, in the company of somebody they like. One doesn't always have to interact all the time with the other person. But, if the visitor gets bored, and wants to do something else, then that should take precedence, I suppose.

Y'know what I love about coming into work?

(aside from the obvious answer of "Nothing")

It's trying to decide when the good mood I woke up with turns into a cranky mood.  This morning it didn't happen until I actually walked into the office. Some mornings, it happens on the drive into work.
