I've had a number of requests to have these fan fics posted where they can be found again. Most of them are...old. I admit I haven't done a lot of fan fic writing in the last several years. But I have reposted the fan fics on: http://geocities.com/taleoryn/index.htmOn that site you can find: Blades of Vengeance (the ancient and still unfinished Round Robin) Dark Journeys Sojourn Storm Little Trouble in Big New York A Short Scary Paradox (the Sue Sitler started story) ...and a couple other short things. Anyone seeking those out, I hope you enjoy them. Most of them have some level of violence, some swearing here and there. Most of them are based on the Mirage comics, so it's pretty much on the level of what you find in those. Not posted is: There's No Time Storm 2 (the couple of sample pieces I posted from that still unfinished fan fic) The only other fan fic work I did was a couple rounds for a finished Round Robin Twilight Reflections for Andrew (see his posting), and the (last I knew of it, unfinished) Round Robin Alphasource by April CK L.

I actually added a new "fan fic" to the site: How to Build Furniture Like a Turtle. It was written last summer when I was putting my computer desk together. As it's not a true fan fic in the sense of a story, I've labelled it as being from "The Book of 5 Ninja."

The furniture building short has their personalities down, all right. But I have to give Mike and Raph credit for completing the task. Knowing how curiously designed some of those computer desks are. I will read your other fics, now that I finished that library book.

Awesome! Those stories are responsible for bringing me back to the TMNT fandom in '97.
I came across, I think it was "Sojourn", on the net one day and thought "Hmmm I used to love the Turtles when I was a kid, maybe I'll read this" and within 2 pages had fallen in love with the boys all over again.

Ya know, Leo...I'm blaming you for writing stories good enough to suck me in hard enough to avoid getting my chores done. I'm glad you put these back up...they're awesome. And yeah, I love the how to build furnature one, too *cackles* It's verrrry very true to the characters

Glad you're all enjoying them! Although it's pretty shocking when you look at the date on the last posting for Blades of Vengeance, or how long Storm 2 has remained unfinished! aaack As for preventing you from doing your chores, Mo? I see I am again being blamed in yet another thread for "originating trouble".

I understand that...I'm bad with finishing stories, too...but those are really very good stories! And nah...I blamed you for writing stories good enough to suck me in...I blame myself for not wanting to do chores.

I have not come across new material in a long time that I have thoroughly enjoyed than as I have with Dark Journeys and its sequel Sojourn. They are truly remarkable pieces of literature. The Turtles are so deadon character. I could actually hear the new toon's voices in my head.
It was amazing throughout, and I love stories filled with magic, mysteries, and the like. An excellent job.

*laughs* I realize that, but to me they are new as I've never known about until now.

Isn't that great? Something old can be something new again! Thank you! (It's been a long day. This is a nice boost.)

I suspected you might know that too, but just had to say it anyway, since it's a scary thought that these WERE written 10 years ago, at least most of them. Where'd the time go???

Hey, just wondering. What happened to the site? I was going to show a friend these stories, but now sadly the site no longer exists.

Well....that's not an easy answer. I just figured everyone was done with reading them and they're soooo old.... There's just so much newer and probably a lot of better written fan fic out there. So out of date that it will never be possible to finish Storm 2 because Mirage did Tales of TMNT that used 2 of the characters in a very different way than I would have been using them.... Things like that.
Sorry I guess I had bad timing for you....

I think they're better than some of the newer stuff to be honest. I enjoyed them a lot. It is sad that you feel you must hide them away, but I think you should have kept them up. It doesn't matter if one story isn't finished. In fact, there are many stories that have never been finished.
You know, my story would be considered out of date with the events that have occured in the new series, but it doesn't bother me and I have had no complaints because at the time I started, none of those things had happened yet. I'm not going to suddenly stop writing, or start rewriting everything to fit because it would destroy the entire story. If you already used those characters in your unfinished story or even in the story before it, I see no reason you couldn't continue on that note because it's already established.
Just a thought. I really think you should bring your stories back to read, but that's only my opinion.
