1. Andrew Modeen. I don't really go by any nicks anymore, but you guys have been confusing the heck out of me lately... first I knew Ms. Ivey as Donatello, now she's Michaelangelo (or is she?), now Horseturtle (or is it Horsetechie?) is Donatello, adding more confusion to the mix. Quit it, people

Hehehehe I'm good at moving nicks around, ain't I?   Really online since day one I've always had the nick Donatello around here and there... starting out on IRC back in 1995, though I also carried the nicks of all of the other Turtles there.  On the mailing list I stayed with Donatello because he's the computer Turtle... and to not hog up the nicks I let the nick Michaelangelo go, which some people did like me better as (infact I still get letters and friends who call me Michaelangelo more than they call me my real name).  On IRC I kept Michaelangelo and Donatello, for RPing and talking.  So really I've had both nicks since I got online.

Just the more I've been online, the more I realized that it's better to take the nick that is most like you than to take a nick just because this is what his character would be.  So starting with the Ninja Turtles Network forum, I just went to being Michaelangelo.  Though I still use the nick Donatello in the places that knew me as Donatello before hand.  There's some people that still refer to me as Donatello.  Though I also have the nick Ivey and IveyAngelo (which you can see here).   I don't really ever get called Ms. Ivey  heh since Ivey is a nick as well, I perfer if people use Ivey... feel free just to call me Ivey *G*  no Ms. needed (Unless you're one of my old Karate students).

I use IveyAngelo so that I don't log on with a mod account at other computers.   Hotel, family or friend computers are suppose to just be this nick.  I feel safer this way.   So this is only my back up nick for when I'm not home.  I have signed on a few times as Michaelangelo to keep  an eye out for any PMs (yes I answer those as much as I answer the posts on the forum).

If you ever come to IRC again though, you'll still see me as Donatello just lurking around the lair.  Every now and than Mikey's lurking too... but that is more for the RPs than sitting in #TMNT just to chat.

lol, they prob'ly liked you as the Mikey nick better 'cause you're a Mike incarnate(like somebody else around here is a Raph incarnate. *eyes Raphie* *ig*). XD

And I've had the same thing happen to me, where I've gotten calls or packages/letters in the mail addressed to "TurtleNinja" or "TN" rather than my real name.

Actually, Ivey, you did that once, sent me a christmas package addressed to TurtleNinja, confused the heck out of our postman. He knocked on the door to deliver it, and when my Mom answered, he asked if a "TurtleNinja" lived there, and we had to explain that it was me, sent by an internet friend.

In all honesty, I do prefer IveyAngelo over Donatello Ivey. Also, Horse Techie oughta go back to being Horse Turtle. I always thought that was a clever nick.

I amit, I like HorseTurtle better  than the other HT, though I just usually call her HT.  Not use to her being Donatello either, but I do know her well enough to except the nick.  She's gotta realize I'll always call her HT

Yes, we need to talk some sense to Sharee. Horseturtle was a great name, and removing the "Turtle" and sticking in "Techie" instead seems like a cop out... like she's distancing herself from the Turtles.

The only reason I have the Ivey nick is because people wanted a female nick for me.  They felt weird calling me by Don or Mike, since I'm a girl.  Though I'm use to all the nicks.  

Though I won't force anyone to keep an old nick, if they want to move on.  Even if the first nick was the coolest nick

It's the robots' fault!  The Transformers poisoned her mind and she can't think straight!  Waaaagh!  Ahem, no need to worry about me changing my nick within the TMNT community.  I'll just be boring ol' Brinatello everywhere I go!

You're referring to PG as a Raph incarnate, correct, TN? Can't be referring to me, I'm hardly Raph-like.  ;P

Although, I, too, have gotten snail mail addressed to an online nick (Raphael).

These ever changing nicks can be confusing. I still call Mike by the nick Don, just because of IRC.  HT is HT, whether it's a turtle or a techie.

I like IveyAngelo, makes the most sense and there can be no confusion over who it is.

I'm ok with IveyAngelo...   though still love the Michaelangelo and Donatello nicks.  *G*  Here I don't want to be called Don or Donatello, because there's already another Donatello here.

Thankfully I've only gone through two nicknames: Swampgirl and Mindy. Other nickies are derived from these two: Swampie, Swamper, Swampaui (wtf?), MindyMousie, Mindy, Mindy Loser...etc.
