Motor City Con sketchs (by professional artists)

Just getting back from the Spring MCC a few days ago, I haven't yet had the time to write up a review with pics and stuff.  But I'll get to it eventually.  In the meantime, I did scan up the two sketches I got from two professional artists at the con.  

One was from an artist name Vance Harris.  He painted/made a TMNT mailbox, which is what first attracted me over to his booth.  Then I saw some of his other work, sketches of various characters including TMNT.  He had an unusual art style so I asked him to draw me Leo.  This is what I got:

I like what he's wearing, kinda neat and NTM-esque!  Or rather, in the FB/4K toon they wore those bandanas when they were little.  Also like the action sequence of him jumping!





Then I mooseyed on over to Dave Aikin's booth, following Ivey who led me there.  He's apparently one of the artists for the FB/4K TMNT kid's books.  The first time I stopped there I didn't buy anything.  But later on I found the booth again and decided, what the heck!  So I bought the book, "Four's A Crowd":




and asked if he could sketch a turtle on the inside cover.  Here it is:

Always nice to collect sketches. Dave's is especially well done. And he's a lefty!
