Embarassed Surprised
Okay so let me be frank here; I don't really like Smash up and here's why. The developers were hyping that there would be a large library of classic characters as well as new ones, and that the game wouldn't just be an homage to the 2007 film as it appeared to be. Okay, don't get me wrong, I liked TMNT but a Smash Brothers stlye brawler with TMNT characters should span every show, comic and movie so that everyone can play as their fav. heroes and villains; esp. obscure ones.
Well, when I bought the game and feverishly started playing it I soon realized that the developer, Game Arts, lied!!! There are only a couple of old characters and they are, of course, designed how they would look in TMNT 2007. Agian, I'm not bashing the recent TMNT. I just think that the original designs of the characters should have been used. And the other really infuriating thing is that they filled like 5 or 6 of the character choices with Rabbids. RABBIDS! Dang it Ubisoft! Even though I do enjoy playing the game a little; after awhile the lack of classic characters and old school nostalgic feel (not to mention the cheap, I'm not even trying, comic book sketch art, still frame cut scenes) sent me back to TMNT: Turtles in time Re shelled, which looks great and is insanely fun. If you haven't played it yet, you must!
P.s. I know my punctuation is appalling and I apologize.

Heh this should of ended up in the Smash up review topic Wink

I have had fun with both games.  Happy/Smile  Just wish I had the X-Box Live to play Re-Shelled again, I got to play two levels of it while it was traveling with the Turtle Bus this summer.  They only had two levels to play, so I played those a lot.
